Events center around Hudson’s arrival

In this summer heat, the Aquatic Garden at Wave Hill truly begins to come into its own, making it the perfect destination for a tour on Thursday or Saturday or the Family Art Project on Saturday or Sunday, while Glyndor Gallery provides a cool counterpoint to the lush gardens, a place to absorb a variety of media and viewpoints that all center on the Native American experience of Henry Hudson’s arrival. Bronx Y to host Annual Bon Appetit gala

The Bronx YMCA will celebrate its the 3rd Annual Bon Appétit Event at the Bronx YMCA, located on 2 Castle Hill Avenue, on September 16, from 6 to 9 p.m. This event brings you a selection food and wine from some of the best restaurants in the Bronx and beyond. This event will help the branch continue to provide children and teems a place to come after school for safe, productive activities that encourage and support academic performance, help to build their self-esteem and develop healthy lifestyles.
