DOS impounds steel stealers

Sanitation Police seized six vehicles in the Bronx that were involved in incidents of theft of recyclables during the month of April: In front of 2568 Wilson Avenue, Robert Romero, 125 Hilary Cir. H., Charlotte, NC, 1992 burgundy Ford Econoline van, unlawfully removed metal recyclables; in front of 4462 Wilder Avenue, Paul Harston, 188 Stevens Avenue, Mt. Vernon, NY; 1994 blue Dodge van, unlawfully removed metal recyclables; in front of 4078 Baychester Avenue, Oscar Posadas, 1727 Seddon Street, Bronx, 1998 white Dodge van, unlawfully removed metal recyclables; in front of 355 Bivonia Avenue, Anthony Gonzalez, 1908 Barnes Avenue, 1987 black Ford van, unlawfully removed metal recyclables; 3703 Secor Avenue, Ronnie Dosreis, 512 N. High Street, Mt. Vernon, N.Y., 1996 black Ford van, unlawfully removed metal recyclables; and in front of 3236 Olinville Avenue, Hipolito Alvarez, 2945 White Plains Road, 1992 white Ford E250, unlawfully removed metal recyclables.

The department’s Citywide Illegal Dumping Task Force seized and impounded a vehicle in the Bronx that was involved in illegal dumping in front of 500 Oak Point Avenue, Miguel Mondesi, 1871 Watson Avenue, 2006 black Kenworth T800, dumped seven cubic yards of car parts.
