First Holy Communion

Master’s Degree

Michael S. Wilbekin and fellow choir members of St. Frances de Chantal Parish send their kudos to assistant cantor Ray Calderon as he recently received his Masters Degree in Music–Opera Emphasis.  Wilbekin, a bass vocalist and friend of Calderon, sends a message to the tenor vocalist: Bravo, buddy!!  Well done and well deserved!

Congratulations to Delores McKay on her graduation from the Lutheran Theological Seminary with her Master’s Degree.  She has already received her first assignment which will be serving in Mount Vernon.  Delores will be recalled by many for her years of serving as a deacon in the First Lutheran Church of Throggs Neck.  We wish her well in her new ministry and know that the people in her new flock will soon come to know and love her as do those in Throggs Neck whom she has served so well in the past.

Congratulations to new author, Paul Morrison, on completing his first novel, Janice, which is dedicated to his late father and grandmother, Eustace Morrison and Etheline Wilkinson. The novel will be available on Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.
