Phase Two Of Ferry Point Sign Alterations
Kenneth Kearns of Community Board 10 contacted the Ferry Point Civic Association late last week to inform us that the street sign alterations will not be addressed at the last meeting of Municipal Services on June 9. We were advised that it would be best if we waited until the community board resumes after summer break in September. In September, the community board will hold a public hearing regarding our request to officially mark Rohr and Wenner Place on NYC DOT maps. We will advise you as details follow. Please note that it is very important that we all attend this meeting in order to accomplish our goal.
Annual Block Party
The Ferry Point Civic Association will host its annual block party on Saturday, August 17, starting at 1 p.m. with a rain date of Sunday, August 18. It will be held on Rohr Place, the center of the Ferry Point community. Detailed invitations will be distributed to all our members.
