Is it me or do you also find that everyone you speak to is either on blood pressure or cholesterol medication?  It seems that acceptable numbers for both conditions are getting lower and lower and I’m beginning to think that it’s being driven by pharmaceutical companies and not science!

Recently, there was an article citing that on several occasions Merck conducted research projects on their new drugs and then had doctors sign off on them.  Sadly, Merck is not the only company accused of such fraudulent activities.  If drug companies had it their way, we’d all be on some drug or another!

Unfortunately, in this day and age we cannot rely on our doctor’s advice alone as so many of them are courted by pharmaceutical companies and unschooled in more natural protocols.  If we are to remain healthy we must get involved, read, research and do all that we can to be educated.  We must strive to be a true partner with our physician and not just take his word as law!

Of course, this is not easy but it is worth every minute spent reading or researching on the internet.  There’s a wealth of information out there and it’s yours for the taking!  I found that out when I was diagnosed with high blood pressure.   Being someone that always takes the natural path first, I wasn’t happy when I had to take medication to lower my blood pressure.  As I swallowed my first pill I made a commitment to myself that I would do everything humanly possible to take my last pill as soon as I could.

I had a heart to heart with my doctor so that he understood what my goal was, then I went home and read and read and then read some more!  I found out that if I was to win I would have to fight my enemy on many levels.  I eliminated salt, not only table salt but I realized that just about any packaged food I picked up contained salt.  So, no more salt or packaged foods for me!  I tried to lose weight, which of course was a constant battle but every pound took me closer to my goal.  I made a conscious effort to relax and tame my type A personality with things like relaxation music and meditation.  Even with my Rheumatoid Arthritis I pushed myself to exercise as much as I could.   Although I remained committed on so many levels, I still could not reach my goal!

Then I added RESPeRATE to the mix and finally I experienced my longed for success.  RESPeRATE is a portable electronic device that helps to lower your blood pressure naturally by teaching you how to practice paced breathing.  Evidence shows that paced breathing, if done effortlessly, can reduce blood pressure by relaxing the muscles surrounding constricted blood vessels.

Using RESPeRATE was not only easy, it was actually enjoyable!  It was like listening to a CD.  You turn on the device, put the headphones on and breathe normally.  RESPeRATE will analyze your breathing pattern and create a personalized melody composed of two distinct tones-one to signal inhaling and one to signal when to exhale.  Simply listen to the tones and they will guide you to slow your breathing to the therapeutic zone of less than 10 breaths per minute.  Within minutes, the muscles surrounding the small blood vessels in your body relax, blood flows more freely, and your blood pressure is significantly lower.  Although your breathing returns to normal after each session, the beneficial impact on your blood pressure accumulates.  Within three to four weeks of using RESPeRATE you will see a significant and lasting reduction in your blood pressure.

The results, in my opinion, are nothing more than miraculous!  Clinical trials have demonstrated that using RESPeRATE 3 or more times per week can lower your systolic blood pressure by as much as 36 points and your diastolic by 20 points!   Isn’t that amazing!

If you have high blood pressure you owe it to yourself to take a closer look at this device.  Call 1 (877) 988-9388 for more information.  Perhaps you too can kiss your medication goodbye!
