The Bronx bomber is the defending four-time champion and will join other notable New York players, including Ceasar Sala, the two time finalist from Brooklyn, and the legendary Rookie Wright, from Manhattan during the five day tourney from Wednesday, July 30 to Sunday, August 3, at the Mecca of all handball courts, located at Surf Avenue and W. 5th Street.

In total, 150 players from California, Washington, Texas, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and even Canada, will compete in various division, vying for more than $10,000 in prize money and trophies.

“The Backyard Battle; the Concrete Clash; the Perfect Game…no matter what you call it, spectators can be assured to witness the most rigorous and demanding competitions among the game’s exceptional men, women and youth,” said a USHA spokesperson.  “These top contenders relentlessly pound the pavement with precision kill shots, acrobatic feats and an uncompromising winner-take-all attitude.”
