Important Notice

The Bronx VA Medical Center is conducting a study of Gulf War Illness Syndrome. If you or someone you know has headaches, sleep and muscular symptoms associated with Persian Gulf military service, please call the VA and inquire about their ongoing studies.

Homeland Security

I didn’t know our infrastructure includes over 600 bridges with one out of four in need of immediate structure repair. In order for America’s supplies to keep moving (and obvious disasters), this problem is in need of work. Also, are you personally ready in case of local emergencies? Ready NY is a good, common sense booklet and is available from 311, as is an automated phone notification of weather emergencies in our coastal area as a test project.

Until Next Time
