WED, SEPT 10th, 8:45 p.m. – 741 East 138 St. Authorities are looking for two males who robbed a commercial store. The thieves rushed into a travel agency taking nearly two thousand dollars in cash besides some electronic equipment. One of the victim’s was struck in the back of the head by armed culprits.
FRI, SEPT 12th, 10:35 a.m. – Third Ave. Bridge. Traffic crossing the Harlem River span came to a halt after public safety officials were alerted that a Hispanic male was attempting to take his life by jumping from the bridge. Marine traffic in the Harlem River was alerted as well as inter-borough vehicle traffic being halted as Emergency Service Squad police officers attempted to talk to the despondent male. The man remained on the span for over a hour until police were able to gain custody of him. Once removed from the span, the man was taken to Lincoln Medical Center for help.
SUN, SEPT 14th, 9:15 p.m. – 455 Jackson Ave. A 35-year-old Hispanic male was arrested after he was found in possession of a 22-caliber semi-automatic pistol.
TUES, SEPT 16th, 9:55 p.m. – 390 East 153 St. A teenage Hispanic male was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center. The 18-year-old boy was suffering from bullet wounds to the shoulder and neck areas. He was reported to be in critical condition. Detectives will be conducting a follow-up inquiry.
41st PCT.
SAT, SEPT 13th, 9:50 p.m. – 1275 Lafayette Ave. A 21-year-old black male ended up in jail. Local patrol officers nabbed the male culprit with a modified shotgun.
42nd PCT.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 3:45 p.m. – 1265 Franklin Ave. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated two teenager who had been stabbed. Both teens, one Hispanic and the second black were suffering from stab wounds to the back officials report. They were reported in stable condition. An inquiry is underway.
FRI, SEPT 12th, 10:30 a.m. – 793 Jennings St. A one-year-old child was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center after being serious injured. A TV set fell on to the chest of the baby who was admitted in extremely critical condition to the hospital.
43rd PCT.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 8:00 a.m. – 1526 Beach Ave. An unconscious three-month-old baby was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center. The medical staff was able to revive the infant for a few hours, but the baby expired at 4:30 p.m. officials report.
44th PCT.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 5:00 a.m. – 1277 Shakespeare Ave. Two black males invaded a home in the Highbridge area. Armed with semi-automatic pistols, the pair forced the apartment door and removed an unknown amount of electronic equipment. None of the occupants were injured.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 8:25 a.m. – 1184 Walton Ave. A 47-year-old woman kept police at bay for nearly 90 minutes. Officers from the Emergency Service Division were summoned to the residential building. Officials learned that the black woman had barricade herself in the home. Apparently she was home alone and failed to take her medications. Despite attempts by the police officers, the woman kept refusing to open the door. By 10 a.m., police were able to gain custody of the woman removing her to St. Barnabas Hospital for assistance.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 2:00 p.m. – 175 West 166 St. A 47 year old Hispanic woman was arrested after police investigated a complaint. Authorities were informed that the female culprit, is a schoolteacher at PS # 126 in the Highbridge section, and that the teacher had choked an 8 year old boy on a previous day. Investigators arrested the teacher.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 10:55 p.m. – 186 East 164 St. Police were called to look into a report that shots had been fired. Responding officers conducted a search for victims but found none. On the other hand, over a dozen bullet shells were marked as evidence for the inquiry. Also the bullets damaged two vehicles besides a store window that was shattered.
SAT, SEPT 13th, 7:55 a.m. – 10 East 170 St. A Hispanic male, about 5 foot 8 inches, committed a robbery. The unidentified culprit robbed the victim at gunpoint only a few blocks away from the local police station.
SAT, SEPT 13th, 9:30 p.m. – Macomb’s Park. An off duty traffic agent nabbed a thief. The city worker watched the culprit break into a vehicle near Yankee Stadium. The traffic officer held the unidentified culprit until local patrol officers arrived and took possession of the suspect.
45th PCT.
WED, SEPT 10th, 8:50 p.m. – 1417 Rowland St. Police are looking for the person who stabbed a 31-year-old Hispanic woman. The staff at Jacobi Medical Center treated the woman for a wound to the abdomen. Detectives are looking for the attacker.
SUN, SEPT 14th, 4:20 a.m. – 410 City Island Ave. Two Hispanic males wearing masks robbed a local gas station. At gunpoint an unknown amount of money was removed from the vehicle service center. No injuries were reported.
TUES, SEPT 16th, 2:00 p.m. – 495 City Island Ave. Emergency units responded to the City Island community in the air, on water, and also on land after a report was received that a man was overboard. Apparently the man lost control and fell off a pier officials were originally informed. But responders quickly learned that the original report was misleading. The man was in a paddleboat that apparently got struck. Several friends assisted the man and got him out of the water before emergency help arrived. No injuries were reported.
46th PCT.
WED, SEPT 10th, 7:05 p.m. – 2343 Valentine Ave. A suspect was arrested and was being processed as the staff at St. Barnabas Hospital treated a male who had been stabbed. The unidentified male victim was stabbed 13 times in the torso according to officials.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 9:40 p.m. – 212 East 182 St. Police were summoned to the building after shots had been fired. An unidentified male was suffering a bullet wound to the foot according to officials at St. Barnabas Hospital where the victim was treated.
TUES, SEPT 16th, 8:00 p.m. – Mt. Hope Pl. and Monroe Pl. A 16-year-old girl took an unexpected trip to St. Barnabas Hospital after being injured. The teenager was suffering from a bullet wound to the left leg. Detectives are looking into the shooting incident.
TUES, SEPT 16th, 10:45 p.m. – Grand Concourse and East 175 St. Authorities are looking into an incident where shots were fired at a unmarked police vehicle. One of the bullets did strike the vehicle but none of the officers were injured.
47th PCT.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 1:50 p.m. – Burke Ave. and East Gun Hill Rd. Police Emergency Service Squad officers requested the services of the experts from the Bomb Squad. Police were summoned to a building after a suspicious device was spotted. The Emergency Service Squad officers deemed that expects from the Bomb Squad was needed. Upon examination it was determined that the device was ‘live’ and would have to be removed from the building. Slowly police officers took the device to Rodman’s Neck where it would be safely disposed of.
SUN, SEPT 14th, 11:50 p.m. – Eastchester Ave. and Adee Ave. A male was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center after being shot. The male victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the stomach area. Detectives from the Laconia Ave. Squad are handling the inquiry.
TUES, SEPT 16th, 12:20 a.m. – 4650 Matilda Ave. A 9-mm semi-automatic pistol was removed from the streets of the Wakefield community by police investigators.
TUES, SEPT 16th, 3:40 a.m. – 957 East 241 St. Emergency crews rushed to a home in the Wakefield community to assist a four month old baby. The infant was found not breathing officials report. First aid was applied as the infant was transported to Montifiore Hospital where the baby was placed on life support equipment. Officials reported that there were no signs of abuse, but the young child did suffer from a viral infection about a week ago.

SUN, SEPT 14th, 1:05 a.m. – 1892 Arthur Ave. Authorities are conducting an inquiry into a shooting. An unidentified male was shot in the knee officials indicated.
SUN, SEPT 14th, 7:40 p.m. – 2023 Hughes Ave. A 27-year-old black male could be facing a year behind bars since he was found in possession of an illegal 357-caliber revolver.
TUES, SEPT 16th, 3:50 p.m. – East 181 St. and Mapes Ave. A 20-year-old black male ended up losing his freedom for over a day as he sat in jail waiting for a court appearance. The male was nabbed while in possession of an illegal 357-caliber pistol.
49th PCT.
WED, SEPT 10th, 4:15 p.m. – East Tremont Ave. and White Plains Rd. Emergency units responded to assist one of their own after an off duty police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident. The officer was transported to Jacobi Medical Center after sustaining multiple injuries.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 2:00 a.m. – 2502 Barnes Ave. The emergency room staff at Jacobi Medical Center treated a 27-year-old Caucasian woman. An unidentified attacker stabbed the female victim. Detectives are assigned to look into the attack.
THURS, SEPT 11th, 11:10 a.m. – The culprit who attacked a city worker was arrested by responding police officers. The suspect was charged with pushing and threatening a traffic agent while a summons was being issued.
FRI, SEPT 12th, 5:25 a.m. – 1140 Burke Ave. A 29-year-old male required medical assistance after being attacked. The man arrived at Jacobi Medical Center suffering from stab wounds to the face and torso areas. Detectives are conducting the inquiry.
MON, SEPT 15th, 11:55 a.m. – 700 Allerton Ave. Authorities are looking to capture the person who robbed the local branch of the Bank of America. A note was passed to a teller demanding money. Among the money taken, was a die pack. It is unknown if the pack went off helping to identify the thief.
MON, SEPT 15th, 3:30 a.m. – 2426 Eastchester Ave. An investigation was launched after officials learned that a Rite-Aid drug store was broken into. The culprit removed an unknown amount of money from the store’s safe and an ATM machine.

TUES, SEPT 16th, 7:35 a.m. – Bailey Ave. and West 233 St. The staff at St. Barnabas Hospital treated a 16-year-old girl. The teen had been struck by a school bus. She was reported in stable condition at the medical facility.
52nd PCT.
WED, SEPT 10th, 11:10 p.m. – Decatur Ave. and East 204 St. Police are searching for the person who attacked a 20-year-old Hispanic male. The victim was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital for stab wounds to the neck and back areas.
FRI, SEPT. 12th, 12:10 a.m. – A suspect was arrested after a woman informed police that she had been raped. The 21-year-old victim was able to supply authorities with sufficient information that lead to the culprit’s arrest.
FRI, SEPT 12th, 4:25 a.m. – Rochambeau Ave. and Kossuth Ave. Local authorities are assisting Westchester County law enforcement officials after a teen appeared at a medical facility in the Norwood area. A 17-year-old black male was admitted to Montifiore Hospital after being shot in the face. The teen walked into the medical facility seeking assistance. Investigators learned that the shooting occurred in the City of Yonkers, however, the teen came to the Bronx for help.
FRI, SEPT 12th, 6:50 p.m. – 2839 Bainbridge Ave. An 18-year-old Hispanic teenager was arrested by undercover police officers. Investigators from the Bronx Gang Squad recovered a 32-caliber pistol when they nabbed the teen.
SAT, SEPT 13th, 8:20 p.m. – Decatur Ave. and East 209 St. A Caucasian male walked into Montifiore Hospital looking for medical help. The male was suffering from a stab wound to the abdomen area. Police were summoned to the hospital to obtain information about the incident.
HOUSING
SUN, SEPT 14th, 7:30 p.m. – 271 East 143 St. Emergency workers came to the aid of a 27-year-old Hispanic woman. The woman was on the roof of a NYC Housing Authority building threatening to jump. Officers from the Emergency Service Division responded and were able to gain custody of the woman. She was taken from the building by officers from Housing’s PSA # 7 and transported to Lincoln Medical Center.
MON, SEPT 15th, 8:25 p.m. – 2780 Schley Ave. A shooting occurred at the Throggs Neck Housing Development causing the response of PSA # 8 Housing Police Officers and also from the 45th Pct. A male was removed to Jacobi Medical Center suffering from a bullet wound to the buttocks officials reported. Detectives have been assigned to the investigation.
