Southeast Asian health crisis awareness forum

On Friday September 19, at the Bronx Library Center, CAAAV Organizing Asian Communities ran a forum discussing the Southeast Asian health crisis in the Bronx.

Members of the CAAAV’s Youth Leadership Project, representatives from Montefiore Medical Family Health Center, International Agent Orange Campaign and Khmer Health Advocates were at the event. The discussion circled around the diabetes, heart disease, mental health, language access and culturally competent health care.
