Samuel Young Legion Post 620

Hello all!

Sunday, November 17, we at the Post will be at the VA for our annual Holiday Party for the shut-ins. This is where we bring toiletries, note paper, cards, stamps, books, videos, coffee and cookies and other items. The Transit Pipers will be there to play as well as Shay Mac, Chip Hiney and Tom Dorhety The Unholy Trio. Santa Claus will be in attendance. So you folk in the neighbor hood who would like to contribute some of the above items, please drop them off at the Ericson entrance to the building. No after shave please. The boys still know how to turn that into cocktails.

Remember the bus trip to Mohegan Sun on Sunday September 28. Cost is $30 with $10 coming back to you for Keno play as well as $10 toward the buffet. Bus leaves 9 a.m. sharp. Coffee and donuts will be served at the Post 8 to 9 a.m.

This will be a short column, so it’s over.
