Dental Lasers
St. Barnabas Hospital was one of the first hospitals to use dental lasers, which can eliminate the need for an injection. Instead of using drills, dental lasers can be used on teeth to remove decay and treat gum disease. St. Barnabas Hospital also uses dental lasers for other procedures such as root canals, biopsies and tooth bleaching.
Digital Radiography
St. Barnabas Hospital uses digital radiography to take X-rays of your teeth. With digital radiography, you are exposed to less radiation during an X-ray than when using other traditional methods.
