The Aetna Foundation has sponsored a community rebuild through a grant to the RTNYC organization. The Mosholu Montefiore Community Center selected the recipient for the refurbish and rebuild.
To make this project successful and have a defining impact within this community, volunteers are needed to get involved. Rebuilding Together NYC will organize the event, supply the equipment, and provide the skilled volunteers. Volunteers can paint, help with the construction of workstations and assist in replacing a floor in the center’s library.
The event will take place at the Mosholu Montefiore Community Center, 3450 Dekalb Avenue, on Sunday, October 26, beginning at 9 a.m. Lunch will be provided.
