AFC Rapid Soccer highlights

Due to inclement weather week 11 has been postponed till a further date. The highlights for week 12 are as follows:

Captain Mike’s Diving sent Seal Tite Builders to Davey Jones locker,3-0. The builders had strong offensive play from Briana Guadalupe, Heather Caputo and Paige Diaz. Holding the “D” were Meaghan Netterville, Cindy Virello and Michelle Lawless.

Finest Auto Body “banged out the dents” and had a drink at Shamrock Inn defeating them, 2-0. Buffing out the job was Sabrina D’Ancona with both goals and Mary Kate Connolly with one assist. The goalie tandem of Marielisa Andalano and Jazmine Benoit pitched the shutout.

Carpet Expo “breached the walls” at St Benedict’s K of C, 5-1. Pulling the rug over the Knights were Ryan Mahoney (2), Ralph Hitchens (1), Peter Ciccone (1) and Christian Camillo (1) + two assists. Other strong play from Tyler Loughrey and Kyle Wager.

The sportsters from Side Street “doggy paddled past” S & J Marine, 2-1. The top sportsters were Antonio Mancini and Rubin Camarro with a goal each. Carrying the “O” were Joseph Alonzo, Xavier Burgos and Jonathon Davis. The “D” was held by Isaya Bertrano, Jared Alonzo and keeper, B.J. Lindo, who preserved the victory with critical saves.

They resined up the bow at Fiddlers Elbow but they were unable to finish losing to Ann Clair’s Deli, 6-4. Pushing the ball on offense was Dante Romano leading to Fabian Romano’s hat trick + 1 outing. Attempting to hold the defense were Alexandra Rachiell, Issabella Agalia and Austin Haney.

The docket was full, as P Wynne, Attorney defeated Soma Health Club, 2-0. The top litigator was Andres Soto with both goals. The clerks were Marco Trombeta and Georgia Argyos. Bailiffs were John Alberti and Nicholetta Marku.

Schuyler Hill F.H. continued their unblemished record over Barino’s Market, 3-0. Luca Policicchio (2) and Joe O’Keefe (1), who also played goalie in the 2nd half. Other stellar performances were turned in by Jake Torres-Serrano, Sarah O’Keefe and Majella Sheehan.

The construction gang flipped the burgers, as Carrillo Construction defeated McDonald’s, 5-0. Leading the construction gang were Danny Kimmel, Nicole Hill and Alan Hoti. Pushing the “O” were Kaitlyn McCormack, Emma Carrillo and Mike Corkin. The “D” was held by JD Dundon and Ray McCann.

Taxes were due, as NCJA Income Tax “melted” Teresa’s Ices, 3-0. The scoring was shared equally among John Healy, Eric Stein and Mohammed Arifov. Top collectors on offense were Jonathon Cerini and Keith Lancaster. Forms were shredded by Michael DiPreta, Michael Healy and Bryanna Sanabria.

The hive was buzzing and the autos were accelerating, as Frank Bees and Milea Auto Sales played to a 2-2 tie. The top salesmen for Milea were Demetrios Kiskinis and Lauren Schnepf. The staff were Julia Haas, Gregory Pollack, Brian Cassidy, James Albertelli. Angelica Civette and Nicholas Schiraldi.

Fighting frigid weather and the body-builders, C.I. Contracting defeated Fusion Fitness, 2-1. Dino Esposito scored a goal and assisted on Michael Gugliota’s strike. Once again Leo Kibler turned on his turbines and distributed the ball for many good scoring opportunities. Jonathan Neill and Adam Buckley played strong defense and made numerous runs down the sidelines, which assisted sweeper, Emily Herrera.
