Assemblyman Michael R. Benedetto delivered several dozen winter coats to The Humans First Fund, a non-profit group that brings services to the homeless and less fortunate population of the city. The coats were collected from donations by the assemblyman’s constituents throughout his district.
“I am always confident that the residents of the communities that I represe nt will show their compassion to those who are in need. They didn’t let me down. We filled two SUVs with the donated coats and there will be dozens of deprived people who will be warm this winter because of the kindness of our people. God bless them all,” stated Benedetto. The assemblyman will make a second delivery of winter coats this week to another organization that aids the homeless.
