40th PCT.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 3:25 a.m. – 710 Tinton Ave. Local police investigators are working with Housing PSA # 7 officers as they investigate a shooting. The male victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the arm when assistance arrived on the scene.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 7:00 a.m. – 303 East 135 St. Officials are waiting for the autopsy report concerning the untimely death of a 10-month-old Hispanic child. The infant was transported to Lincoln Medical Center where officials indicated that the baby boy had expired.

41st PCT.

WED, DEC. 10th, 10:05 p.m. – 920 Prospect Ave. A standoff with local police ended when the female culprit saw police officers from the Emergency Service Squad. The unidentified culprit slashed her aunt in the face authorities reported. Then she barricaded herself in an apartment. After the arrival of these specially trained police officers, the woman opened the door for the police officers.

SUN, DEC. 14th, 2:45 p.m. – Southern Blvd. and Longwood Ave. Emergency units responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle accident. One of the vehicles jumped the curve striking a building’s corner. Two persons inside a vehicle were reported to have been injured and were transported to Lincoln Medical Center for medical care.

MON, DEC. 15th, 11:55 a.m. – 1119 Bryant Ave. Officials are looking into the death of a 61-year old male. Officials believe that the man might have taken his own life. The experts at the Medical Examiner’s office will make the official determination.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 7:05 p.m. – 758 Kelly St. Another gun was reported from a South Bronx street. The arresting officer vouched this time a 380-caliber semi-automatic pistol.

42nd PCT.

WED, DEC. 10th, 10:40 p.m. – 1097 Boston Rd. Police wants to question a black man possibly in his late thirties. The man was responsible for a gunpoint robbery that netted him $140 in cash. The victim escaped injury.

FRI, DEC. 12th, 11:25 p.m. – Boston Rd. and East 169 St. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated a Hispanic male who had been shot twice. Police are looking to interview anyone who saw what happened at the busy intersection.

SAT, DEC. 13th, 12:35 a.m. – Stebbins Ave. and East 170 St. The driver of a livery cab became the victim to a trio of bandits. The three culprits, including a female, entered the cab along Burnside Ave. They were driven to the lower Bronx where the female left the vehicle first. Then the two male passengers grabbed the driver around the neck. The driver is forced out of the 2000 Lincoln Town car as one of the culprits jumps into drivers seat and they speed off leaving the driver behind. The driver escaped injury.

FRI, DEC. 12th, 5:15 p.m. – Boston Rd. and East 167 St. A 17 year old boy was suffering a bullet wound to the chest area when he arrived at Lincoln Medical Center. The teen was reported to be in stable condition. Local detectives will conduct the inquiry.

SUN, DEC. 14th, 6:25 p.m. – Third Ave and East 169 St. Police are investigating a shooting that sent a male to a local medical facility. The victim was shot in the leg authorities report. Detectives from the local squad are going to handle the inquiry.

MON, DEC. 15th, 9:20 p.m. – 1111 Forest Ave. A suspect turned himself into the police at the Washington Ave. police station several hours after attacking his girlfriend. Previously, patrol officers were sent to the scene where a female had been stabbed twice. The victim was transported to Lincoln Medical Center where two stab wounds were treated.

43rd PCT.

WED, DEC. 10th, 4:55 a.m. – Sound View area. A search was conducted for a culprit described as a black male who attacked a mother and a daughter. The unidentified culprit climbed up a fire escape, entering the home via a window, and raped the younger victim.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 5:55 p.m. – Sound View Ave. and Lafayette Ave. Authorities are looking into a stabbing. The victim was stabbed in the chest area after having a dispute with the culprit.

SAT, DEC. 13th, 3:50 p.m. – 900 Fteley Ave. An undercover police officer from the Bronx Anti-Crime Unit arrested an unidentified person who was in possession of a 9-mm semi-auto pistol.

MON, DEC. 15th, 6:35 p.m. – 2028 Cross Bronx Expwy. A search was conducted for two males who conducted an armed robbery. One male was armed with a gun as the pair forced their way into the apartment. The thief fired three shots from the handgun striking and killing a dog before they fled.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 3:40 a.m. – East 174 St. and Manor Ave. Officials are looking into a shooting that sent a male victim to a nearby medical facility. The victim was reported to be in stable condition.

44th PCT.

WED, DEC. 10th, 9:00 a.m. – 1003 Woodycrest Ave. In the Highbridge section, local police arrested a city worker. A sanitation worker was taken into custody after a civilian informed officers that the city worker struck the victim with a stick after they had a verbal dispute.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 7:55 p.m. – 361 East 163 St. Police recovered two more weapons while looking into a home invasion. Three black males displaying two guns invaded the Melrose section home. The victim was struck by one of the guns in the forehead. Apparently the trio was attempting to retrieve valuable that were left inside the home. Responding police officers arrested two persons while recovering a semi-automatic pistol, and a semi-automatic rifle. An inquiry is still underway by detectives.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 10:15 p.m. – 917 Sheridan Ave. Several criminals brought more attention to an apartment then the occupant had hoped for. The culprits tried to force their way into the home, but fled. Police were summoned and were shocked at what they saw. Recovered was two kilos of what appeared to be heroin besides a 38-caliber revolver. Specially trained detectives will continue with the inquiry.

FRI, DEC. 12th, 9:45 p.m. – East 162 St. and Morris Ave. A 22-caliber pistol was taken off the streets by an undercover police officer. The arrest and recovery of the gun was made by a police officer from the Bronx Anti-Crime Unit.

SUN, DEC. 14th, 8:40 p.m. – 119 West Mount Eden Ave. Investigators are looking for two Hispanic males who robbed a pizzeria. The pair simulated that they were armed according to the victims. An unknown amount of money was taken, but no injuries were reported.

MON, DEC. 15th, 3:20 p.m. – East 161 St. and River Ave. Emergency rescue units were needed after a 63-year-old man became pinned under a truck. Despite effects of rescue workers at the accident scene, the man expired. Officers from Highway 1’s Accident Investigation Squad were called to the scene to recover evidence that will be used during the investigation phase.

MON, DEC. 15th, 8:15 p.m. – College Ave. and East 169 St. Police officers in the Morrisiana area responded to assist a 21-year-old male. The young black male was treated at Lincoln Medical Center for a bullet wound to the right leg. Local detectives are handling the inquiry.

45th PCT.

WED, DEC. 10th, 10:05 a.m. – 4140 Hutchinson River Pkwy East. A 16-year-old male Hispanic teen was fighting for his life at Jacobi Medical Center. The boy was stabbed in his chest and head after being attacked. An investigation is underway by local detectives.

FRI, DEC. 12th, 6:40 a.m. – Police investigators are looking into a report that three males raped an 18-year-old girl. The victim when to a males home, where apparently two other males were waiting for them and came out of a back room. The teen reported that all three males raped her.

46th PCT.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 4:00 p.m. – Davidson Ave. and West Burnside Ave. Police are looking into a reported shooting. An unidentified male was shot in the leg. The victim was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital as detectives started an inquiry.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 6:40 p.m. – 2300 Grand Concourse. Police are looking for the male who forced a Hispanic woman into a vehicle at gunpoint. She was assaulted before being driven to the Unionport section where the man assaulted her again before taking her cell phone. The woman was set free.

FRI, DEC. 12th, 12:05 a.m. – Sedgwick Ave. and West Tremont Ave. An undercover officer was able to get another handgun off of local streets. The arresting officer vouched this time a 357-caliber pistol.

SAT, DEC. 13th, 8:30 a.m. – 334 East 188 St. A gunpoint robbery netted the culprit several thousand dollars officials report. No injuries were reported. Detectives from the Ryer Ave. Squad are conducting the inquiry.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 11:00 a.m. – Tiebout Ave. and East 183 St. Another city worker was taken into custody by patrol officers. This time a city Sanitation employee was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated.

47th PCT.

SAT, DEC. 13th, 1:45 p.m. – 722 East 227 St. Authorities are looking into the death of a 26-year-old black male. The victim’s body was found by officials in the bathtub. The body was turned over to the Medical Examiner’s office so that an autopsy could be performed and the cause of death to be determined.

MON, DEC. 15th, 6:25 p.m. – 4000 Laconia Ave. The victim of a shooting lost his life despite the effects of trying to save him at Jacobi Medical Center. The male victim was shot once in the chest while in the Baychester community.

48th PCT.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 8:40 a.m. – 1908 Prospect Ave. An undercover investigator nabbed a 34-year-old man who was in possession of an unregistered handgun. Arrested was Podonel Rivera.

SUN, DEC. 14th, 2:35 a.m. – 2111 LaFontaine Ave. Police officers from the Emergency Service Squad forced a door leading other police officers to arrest the occupants who were inside the room. Local officers who discovered a dogfight took four persons into custody.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 1:50 a.m. – 413 East 187 St. Detectives are busy gathering information about a double shooting that occurred. A male was transported and admitted in stable condition to nearby St. Barnabas Hospital after being shot in the right thigh, and lower leg. An unidentified female was shot once according to officials.

49th PCT.

SAT, DEC. 13th, 1:20 a.m. – 2990 Boston Rd. A black male was arrested by local police officers after he was found in possession of a 22-caliber derringer pistol.

SUN, DEC. 14th, 1:05 a.m. – 1707 Unionport Rd. Authorities are looking into a double shooting. Two males were transported to Jacobi Medical Center after being shot. Detectives from the Eastchester Police Station are assigned to the inquiry.

SUN, DEC. 14th, 4:10 a.m. – 2241 White Plains Rd. A 17-year-old black male was nabbed while in possession of a 9-mm pistol. The weapon was recovery and local patrol officers made arrest.

MON, DEC. 15th, 10:15 a.m. – 2163 Muliner Ave. Investigators are looking for the person who broke into a house of worship. Missing from the synagogue officials indicated was a scroll worth in the area of ten thousand dollars.

50th PCT.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 9:50 p.m. – Hudson Parkway and West 232 St. Police officers were forced to close down the parkway at the overpass. The roadway was flooded requiring traffic to be diverted so that motorist would not get struck on the roadway. Other city agencies responded to help remove the water so that the roadway could be reopened.

SAT, DEC. 13th, 10:15 p.m. – 3640 Johnson Ave. Authorities are looking into the death of a 24-year-old male. Officials believe that the victim might have died from a drug overdose, but experts at the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official cause of death.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 2:10 p.m. – Strong St. and Reservoir Ave. A civilian vehicle struck an unmarked police car. Two police officers and a civilian were all transported and treated at St. Barnabas Hospital. Injuries were reported to be minor.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 9:50 p.m. – 4555 Henry Hudson Parkway. A 17-year-old male cause panic in the Riverdale section. The teen left a note behind stating that he was going to take his own life. Additional police officers were deployed into the area to help search for the teen. At 5:45 a.m., the teen’s body was discovered with a bullet wound to the head, apparently self-inflicted.

52nd PCT.

THURS, DEC. 11th, 4:10 a.m. – 2297 Cedar Ave. Police are looking into a weapon discharge. Apparently multiple shots were fired because officers recovered evidence that at lease three bullets were discharged. No victim was found at the scene, but Manhattan police officers might have found a victim at an Manhattan medical facility.

SUN, DEC. 14th, 3:50 a.m. – 3554 DeKalb Ave. A male was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital after being attacked. The victim had been stabbed six times and reported in stable condition. Now detectives are looking for the attacker.

TUES, DEC. 16th, 1:45 a.m. – 2921 Briggs Ave. A 25-caliber pistol was removed from the street after police arrested its owner.
