MON, JUNE 22nd, 2:40 a.m. – 346 East 156 St. The emergency room staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated a Hispanic male who had been shot. The 29-year-old Hispanic male victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the buttock. Detectives are currently looking into the shooting.
WED, JUNE 24th, 5:40 a.m. – 892 East 141 St. The local area was flooded by water pouring from a detective fire hydrant. Apparently a trucks struck and dismantle the emergency water dispenser. Once city officials were able to shut down the water main that was supplying the fire hydrant, the most important task to correct the problem was completed.
THURS, JUNE 25th, 6:30 a.m. – 375 East 154 St. Four arrest were made as police officers this time nabbed the group with a shotgun.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 6:55 a.m. – 383 East 141 St. Police are looking into the death of a 6-year-old child. Despite medical assistance the child expired. Officials indicated that the victim had suffered from autism. The Medical Examiner’s office will determine if the death was suspicious.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 10:55 a.m. – 675 Morris Ave. Armed with a knife, an emotional person kept police at bay. The person was hiding inside an apartment and once taken into custody they were removed to a local hospital for help.
41st PCT.
MON, JUNE 22nd, 4:20 p.m. – 914 Hoe Ave. A wife found her husband’s body authorities indicated. Police were called to the scene of an apparent suicide where a male took his own life. The body was released to the Medical Examiner’s office where it will be determined if the death is under suspicious circumstances.
WED, JUNE 24th, 9:25 a.m. – 1106 West Farms Rd. Police were summoned to the residential site after a two-month-old baby expired. Officials indicated that the death was not suspicious.
42nd PCT.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 7:50 p.m. – 467 East 159 St. Residents had to be evacuated city officials determined. A partial collapse of a vacant structure brought responders from several different agencies to the scene including from the Red Cross. Authorities indicated that 19 residents had to be removed from nearby buildings for their own safety.
MON, JUNE 22nd, 10:45 p.m. – East 163 St. and Third Ave. Police officers were dispatched to investigate a report that shots had been fired. Arriving police officers were able to arrest a suspect but indicated that shots had been fired, but no injuries being reported.
TUES, JUNE 23rd, 4:20 p.m. – 961 East 174 St. A 15 year old boy was taken off the streets of the Bronx and instead placed into a confinement area by authorities. The teen was arrested while in possession of a 44-caliber pistol officials indicated.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 2:20 a.m. – 1365 Lyman Pl. Authorities are looking into a shooting that sent three males to Lincoln Medical Center. The victims apparently walked into the hospital seeking care for the bullet wounds. Police officers responded to the medical facility to obtain information about the incident. Detectives will conduct the follow-up inquiry.

SUN, JUNE 21st, 3:20 a.m. – Elder Ave. and Westchester Ave. Police investigators are looking into a shooting that sent an unidentified male to Jacobi Medical Center. The male victim was deemed by medical authorities to be in stable condition.
WED, JUNE 24th, 8:05 p.m. – 1440 Wood Rd. Two black males were arrested in the Parkchester area. The pair was nabbed by police officers who removed two illegal guns from the pair. Vouched were a 9-mm pistol and a 380-caliber revolver.
THURS, JUNE 25th, 12:55 a.m. – 2001 McGraw Ave. Police arrested two Hispanic males who were armed with a semi-automatic pistol. Recovered by the authorities was a 9-mm pistol. The arresting officer as evidence vouched the gun.
THURS, JUNE 25th, 1:50 a.m. – 1366 White Plains Rd. Additional police officers were deployed into the area after a male was shot. The male victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the left shoulder according officials at Jacobi Medical Center.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 6:35 a.m. – 1674 Lafayette Ave. A 60-year-old woman kept police at bay after looking herself inside an apartment. Officers from the Emergency Service Squad responded to the scene. After forcing the door, the specially trained police officers gained custody of the intoxicated Latino woman. The woman was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for medical care.
44th PCT.
MON, JUNE 22nd, 4:45 a.m. – 740 Grand Concourse. A 25-year-old Hispanic male walked into Lincoln Medical Center seeking help. Police officers were called after the medical staff determined that the man was suffering from bullet wounds to the left leg and right shoulder. Detectives are looking into the shooting.
TUES, JUNE 23rd, 1:00 a.m. – 1506 Walton Ave. Authorities are looking into an attacking involving an elderly man. The victim, a 68-year-old black male, was stabbed during an attack. He was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital as detectives started looking into the attack.
TUES, JUNE 23rd, 7:50 p.m. – Jerome Ave. and Cross Bronx Expwy. Officials indicated that no one was injured by the shots that had been fired. Arriving police officers arrested four suspects while recovering a gun.
TUES, JUNE 23rd, 8:05 p.m. – Cross Bronx Expwy. and Jerome Ave. A 30-year-old Hispanic male was arrested after police recovered a 38-caliber pistol from the man’s possession.
45th PCT.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 1:10 p.m. – East Tremont Ave. and Castle Hill Ave. Additional police officers were deployed into the area after the local Getty gas station was robbed by two unknown males. At gunpoint the pair separated the occupants of the business by placing them into separate rooms before fleeing with $400 in cash. Authorities are looking to see if this incident is connected to the previous Getty gas station robbery (see 47th Pct.).
SUN, JUNE 21st, 5:25 p.m. – 3281 Spencer Dr. Authorities were called to the County Club community. Apparently a 44-year-old woman suffering from depression took an overdose of medication. She expired at 6:00 p.m. despite effects to assist her. The victim’s body was released to the Medical Examiner’s office so that an autopsy could be performed.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 9:40 p.m. – 120 Aldrich St. A 25-year-old black male was transported to Jacobi Medical Center after being shot in Co-op City. The man was suffering from a bullet wound to the buttock’s authorities indicated. The victim was reported in stable condition. Now local detectives will handle the inquiry.
MON, JUNE 22nd, 10:35 p.m. – 2854 East 195 St. Four police officers received minor injuries after being assaulted while on duty in the Pelham Bay section of the borough.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 1:00 p.m. – Pelham Bay Park. An investigation was launched after city park rangers discovered a farm of marijuana plants. The discovery was made in the borough’s largest park. Officials indicated about 40 plants were growing in buckets near a marsh area.

MON, JUNE 22nd, 12:20 p.m. – Washington Heights Bridge. Emergency resources responded to the span that links the Bronx’s University Ave with Manhattan’s West 181 Street over the Harlem River. An emotionally disturbed person was threatening to jump. Additional Emergency Service Squad police officers responded with trucks carrying airbags that were deployed under the span at Sedgwick Ave. Once the person was taken into custody, traffic resumed. The person was taken to a near-by hospital for help.
TUES, JUNE 23rd, 1:05 p.m. – 2295 Morris Ave. A suspect who was trying to get away from police jumped from a window. Instead of seeing freedom, the culprit is in a near-by hospital in critical condition fighting for his life.
TUES, JUNE 23rd, 6:50 p.m. – 1893 Harrison Ave. A police officer from the Ryer Ave station arrested a suspect who was in possession of an unregistered gun. This time a 38-caliber revolver was recovered and vouched.
THURS, JUNE 25th, 11:45 p.m. – 355 East 184 St. The emergency room staff at St. Barnabas Hospital treated a 22-year-old male. The male victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the area behind the ear.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 5:50 a.m. – 2317 Tiebout Ave. No one was reported injured after a shot was fired. The bullet went through a window in the bedroom. Detectives are conducting the inquiry.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 10:50 a.m. – 2225 Webster Ave. Authorities are looking into an incident where four bottles containing chemicals were found near a neighborhood school. Expects were summoned to the scene to help identify the contents of the bottles believing that they contained possible hazardous materials.
47th PCT.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 12:40 p.m. – East 233 St. and Baychester Ave. Medical personnel were needed at the local Getty gas station after the establishment was robbed. Police are looking for two black males who at gunpoint robbed the people who were at the gas station. The culprits fled with a bankcard after striking a person in the head with the gun. Medics treated the victim for a laceration to the head besides a right eye injury before removing the victim to Jacobi Medical Center. Detectives are now looking for the two culprits.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 8:05 p.m. – 3211 Fenton Ave. Authorities are looking into a report that a gun had been discharged. Arriving police officers verified the initial report after discovering ten shell casings. The evidence that was vouched might help police link a weapon to the discharge. No injuries were reported.
MON, JUNE 22nd, 4:20 p.m. – 1044 East 211 St. Police investigators are looking into a report that shots have been fired. Arriving police officers conducted a search of the area but were unable to find any victim’s. However, this will not prevent detectives from looking into this incident.
WED, JUNE 24th, 12:45 a.m. – White Plains Rd. and East 241 St. A search was conducted by authorities for three black males. The armed trio committed a robbery that netted them sixty dollars in cash.
WED, JUNE 24th, 9:25 a.m. – 859 East 220 St. A 52 year old man was arrested by police. Joseph Hunter was charged with illegal possession of a firearm.
WED, JUNE 24th, 5:30 p.m. – 3361 Fish Ave. At gunpoint, a black male robbed a local store. The thief entered a neighborhood boutique producing a gun. The culprit made off with an unknown amount of money from the store.
WED, JUNE 24th, 8:00 p.m. – 747 East Gun Hill Rd. Authorities are looking for a Hispanic male who robbed a store. Apparently using what appears to been a simulated gun, three hundred and fifty dollars was removed from the store by the unknown thief.
THURS, JUNE 25th, 12:25 a.m. – 1255 East Gun Hill Rd. Two black males committed another robbery. This time the pair netted at gunpoint a cell-phone and a wallet containing an unknown amount of money.
THURS, JUNE 25th, 8:00 p.m. – East Gun Hill Rd. and White Plains Rd. A 28-year-old man can be facing a year in jail after being found in possession of an unregistered Ruger pistol.
FRI, JUNE 26th, 4:40 p.m. – 4399 White Plains Rd. A Hispanic male robbed a neighborhood Dunkin Donuts. With his hand in a pocket, the man simulated that he had a gun. The culprit demanded money from the employee. The perpetrator fled with five hundred in cash.
48th PCT.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 5:10 p.m. – 2311 Crotona Ave. Local patrol officers took another illegal gun off the streets. A suspect was arrested as police removed and vouched another unregistered gun from possible future street use.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 5:40 p.m. – Webster Ave. and East Tremont Ave. A search was conducted for the male who attacked a bus driver. The unknown Hispanic male got aboard the bus and started to attack the driver before fleeing. Local detectives have taken over the inquiry.
TUES, JUNE 23rd, 8:00 a.m. – 870 East 175 St. Another 380-caliber pistol was removed from Bronx streets. This time the gun was removed from a 25-year-old black male in the East Tremont section. The weapon was vouched for future court use.
49th PCT.
MON, JUNE 22nd, 9:15 a.m. – 1663 Garfield Ave. A 24-year-old black male is looking at a year behind bars if he is found guilty in an upcoming court hearing. Local officers nabbed the man while in possession of a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol.
50th PCT.
SUN, JUNE 21st, 3:50 a.m. – Manhattan College Parkway and Broadway. A 30-year-old man was attacked outside a lounge in the Riverdale section of the county. The man was slashed in the stomach, chest, and face areas authorities indicated. Medical officials indicated that the man needed nearly 50 stitches to close the various wounds. Detectives have been assigned to conduct a follow-up inquiry.
52nd PCT.
THURS, JUNE 25th, 3:20 a.m. – 3083 Webster Ave. Authorities are looking for two blacks females whom stabbed the victim during a commercial robbery. A gas station attendant was stabbed during the robbed by the duo. The injured worker was provided with medical care at St. Barnabas Hospital.
