THURS, JULY 16th, 11:25 p.m. – 490 East 143 St. A 17 year old black male was arrested after the teen was found to be in possession of a gun. Recovered was a 25-caliber revolver. The handgun was vouched for future court use.

FRI, JULY 17th, – 620 Trinity Ave. Police are looking for the culprit who shot a male in the leg. After the initial investigation, officials realized that a ‘bb’ pellet caused the wound. Authorities are looking into the incident.

MON, JULY 20th, 6:50 a.m. – Jackson Ave. and East 149 St. Authorities are looking for a taxicab that was taken during a robbery. A black male at knifepoint robbed the driver and drove off in the vehicle. The driver escaped injuries.

41st PCT.

SAT, JULY 18th, 4:20 a.m. – Westchester and Intervale Ave. Police officers were busy looking for information about a double shooting. Searches of the area were conducted for evidence as the two male victims were being provided with medical care.

SUN, JULY 19th, 12:25 a.m. – 931 Fox St. Detectives launched an investigation after learning that a shooting had occurred. A Hispanic male found his own way to Lincoln Medical Center after being shot. Police were summoned to the medical facility as the male victim was treated for a bullet wound to the left leg.

SUN, JULY 19th, 2:35 a.m. – 596 Prospect Ave. Five arrests were made as police removed another gun from Bronx streets. Arresting officers vouched this time a 22-caliber pistol.

42nd PCT.

SAT, JULY 18th, 8:15 p.m. – 1460 Washington Ave. The victim of a robbery required medical care. The male victim was stabbed in the hand and was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital. Authorities are looking to question three unidentified male culprits.

SAT, JULY 18th, 8:40 p.m. – Crotona Park. Members of an under cover police unit nabbed another person who had an unregistered gun. This time Bronx Anti-Crime officers recovered and vouched a 380-caliber semi-auto.

SUN, JULY 19th, 3:40 a.m. – Washington Ave. and East 169 St. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center’s Emergency Room treated a male who had been shot. Police officers were called to the hospital learned that the unidentified victim had been shot three times. Now the case is in the hands of local investigators.

43rd PCT.

WED, JULY 15th, 8:15 a.m. – 1790 Story Ave, Additional police officers responded to assist officials at the scene of an attack. A 20-year-old male had been stabbed twice, suffering from wounds to the neck and torso area. The victim was treated at Jacobi Medical Center.

SUN, JULY 19th, 9:15 p.m. – Watson Ave. and Manor Ave. Authorities are searching for the person who fired a gun into the air. The culprit discharged a bullet into the air before dropping the gun and fleeing the area. No injuries were reported.

SUN, JULY 19th, 11:00 p.m. – 1667 Metropolitan Ave. A shooting sent a man from the Parkchester area to Jacobi Medical Center. The 26-year-old black male was suffering from a bullet wound to the left leg authorities indicated.

44th PCT.

THURS, JULY 16th, 2:15 a.m. – 1162 Sherman Ave. Three culprits attacked a black male. The seriously injured male victim was transported to an area hospital as authorities looked for the attackers.

45th PCT.

MON, JULY 13th, 7:55 p.m. – 2400 Westchester Ave. Police investigators were busy gathering information about an armed robbery of a local business. At gunpoint, a black male demanded money and fled prior to the arrival of local police officers.

THURS, JULY 16th, 8:00 p.m. – Ferry Point Park. A sporting event lead to a dispute with a male being sent to Jacobi Medical Center after being attacked during a dispute. Apparently during a game of cricket a male received slash wounds to the chest and arm areas by an unknown person. The attacker fled prior to the victim was being assisted. Local detectives have been assigned to the investigation.

46th PCT.

WED, JULY 15th, 12:35 a.m. – Grand Concourse and East 184 St. Authorities recovered a 22-caliber derringer from a person who has no permit for the small handgun. The weapon was removed from the owner who could be facing a year behind bars if found guilty during their trail.

WED, JULY 15th, 7:00 p.m. – Jerome Ave. and Featherbed Lane. A suspect was arrested after police officers found the culprit will an illegal gun. Recovered by officials was a 38-caliber pistol.

THURS, JULY 16th, 10:00 p.m. – 55 Richman Plaza. Authorities are looking into a shooting that required two people to seek medical care. A black female was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital while a male found his own way to Lincoln Medical Center. Detectives were busy trying to gather information and evidence about the occurrence.

SUN, JULY 19th, 4:30 a.m. – Andrews Ave. and West Tremont Ave. The staff at Bronx Lebanon Hospital assisted a male who had been assaulted. Police who were summoned to the medical facility to interview the victim learned that the male was assaulted with a bottle. An investigation is underway.

SUN, JULY 19th, 7:05 p.m. – Loring Pl. South and West Burnside Ave. A suspect will be facing a judge to explain why he was arrested. The culprit was nabbed with an unregistered 38-caliber pistol.

SUN, JULY 19th, 9:30 p.m. – East Fordham Rd. and Valentine Ave. Police are looking into a shooting. A male walked into Jacobi Medical Center looking for treatment for a bullet wound. The victim was suffering from a wound to the stomach area investigators were informed. Now detectives will handle the inquiry.

MON, JULY 13th, 2:50 a.m. – 780 Burke Ave. A search was conducted by local police for two armed males. The two unidentified culprits at gunpoint robbed a commercial establishment. None of the occupants were injured, but the pair fled with an unknown amount of money.

MON, JULY 13th, 11:30 p.m. – 4382 Furman Ave. The emergency room staff at Jacobi Medical Center treated a man who had been shot. The 32-year-old victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the chest area upon arrival at the medical facility. Investigators went to the crime scene hoping to obtain information about the incident from a possible witnesses.

TUES, JULY 14th, 4:25 a.m. – 3972 White Plains Rd. A 57-year-old man was transported to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition. An unidentified culprit had shot the Asian man in the face and neck.

TUES, JULY 14th, 6:00 p.m. – 3155 Grace Ave. Authorities are looking into the death of an 81-year-old male. An elderly man was found lying face-up in a common area of the building. Investigators are waiting for the Medical Examiners office report that will indicate if the death was suspicious.

WED, JULY 15th, 2:00 a.m. – Bronx Blvd. and East 233 St. A 32-caliber pistol was vouched by arresting police officers. The unlicensed owner could be facing a year in jail pending the outcome of their trail.

WED, JULY 15th, 1:20 p.m. – 801 Tilden St. Police officers looking into a shooting arrested three people. The investigators learned that a male victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the foot. Apparently the investigators learned that the wound was self-inflicted.

WED, JULY 15th, 2:50 p.m. – 731 Tilden St. Three black males were arrested and charged with criminal possession of a weapon. Taken into custody were three black males, ages 19, 20, and 21 years old. An illegal gun was recovered and vouched.

SUN, JULY 19th, 11:15 p.m. – 3665 Laconia Ave. A 50-year-old black male was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center after being shot. The medical staff indicated that the man had a bullet wound to the chest area. Now detectives will handle the remaining inquiry.

SUN, JULY 19th, 11:25 p.m. – 3055 Edison Ave. A 39-year-old Hispanic man was arrested by local police officers. The man was nabbed along with a 38-caliber revolver that was not registered.

MON, JULY 20th, 5:55 a.m. – 3416 Grace Ave. Authorities are looking into an 80 year old man. The man apparently attempted to take his own life by self-inflicting a bullet into his head. He was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center in critical condition.

48th PCT.

FRI, JULY 17th, 12:45 a.m. – 2311 Southern Blvd. Police are looking into a home invasion that occurred in a high-rise apartment building. Three black males wearing hoodies at gun- point forced they way into a home. The victim was not injured officials indicated.

SUN, JULY 19th, 7:00 p.m. – Southern Blvd. and East 180 St. An unidentified male was rushed to Montifiore Hospital after being attacked. The male victim was stabbed once in the back according to officials. Detectives are looking into the incident.

49th PCT.

MON, JULY 13th, 11:40 p.m. – Garfield St. and Baker Ave. Local police officers were surprised upon being notified that a male who had been shot in the Morris Park area was at a Manhattan hospital seeking treatment. The male victim was looking for care for a bullet wound to the foot. He appeared at North General Hospital on Madison Ave. looking for the specialized treatment.

TUES, JULY 14th, 11:55 p.m. – Waring Ave. and Laconia Ave. A vehicle accident claimed two lives and left a third person fight for his life. The intersection accident saw the response of emergency crews from several agencies. A 29-year-old Hispanic woman died at the scene, while a 41-year-old Hispanic male expired at Jacobi Medical Center. The third victim, a 26-year-old Hispanic man was rushed to Jacobi where he was reported to be in a life-threatening condition. Expects from Highway 1’s Accident Investigation Squad were summoned to the scene to help gather evident for the inquiry.

TUES, JULY 14th, 11:15 p.m. – 2925 Morgan Ave. Five culprits were arrested as police removed another high power weapon from Bronx streets after the group committed a home invasion. This time police officers were able to voucher a AK-47 automatic weapon that was used during the robbery. The group tied up all the occupants. Responding police officers were able to gather sufficient information that provided authorities an advantage to apprehend the group besides the weapon recovery. During the inquiry information that police obtained also lead to the arrest of the victim.

THURS, JULY 16th, 10:15 p.m. – 2194 Barnes Ave. Three bold bandits conducted a home invasion pistol-whipping the victim. Two of the culprits covered their faces by wearing mask. The attack on the victim apparently caused minor injuries, but apparently the trio fled with an unknown amount of property.

50th PCT.

THURS, JULY 16th, 3:30 a.m. – Authorities are searching for a male who sexually attacked a Hispanic teenager. The unknown assailant forced the 17-year-old girl into an alleyway. The attacker leaving marks about the girl’s body physically assaulted the teen. Investigators from the Bronx Special Victims Squad are assisting with the inquiry.

THURS, JULY 16th, 7:00 p.m. – A 36 year old male was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old Latino girl. The incident happened in a public pool officials report.

52nd PCT.

TUES, JULY 14th, 4:50 p.m. – Jerome Ave. and Kingsbridge Rd. A 16-year-old male required medical attention after being assaulted. Two other Hispanic males stabbed the Hispanic teenager twice in the back. The teen was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital as police arrested two suspects.

THURS, JULY 16th, 6:00 p.m. – 3016 Webster Ave. A male suspect was arrested as police officers recovered an unregistered gun for his possession.

THURS, JULY 16th, 8:40 p.m. – 2663 Heath Ave. Police investigators are looking into a shooting that caused a male to be transported to St. Barnabas Hospital. The staff at the medical facility treated the male victim for a bullet wound to the abdomen area. The shoot victim was reported to be in serious condition.

SAT, JULY 18th, 12:35 a.m. – 2785 Briggs Ave. Detectives launched an inquiry after the body of a Hispanic male was discovered. Upon examination investigators were informed that the death was declared accidental.

MON, JULY 20th, 11:35 p.m. – 210 East 203 St. Detectives are faced with a homicide inquiry. A 21-year-old male was shot in the chest. The victim was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he expired shortly after mid-night.

Transit

FRI, JULY 17th, 12:50 p.m. – White Plains Rd. and Pelham Parkway. Based on information obtained during the initial phase of the inquiry into an attack on a transit worker, two culprits were arrested. Police officers searching the area found the two black males who assaulted the government employee. The injured man was slashed in the face by one of the two attackers. The injured man was treated at Jacobi Medical Center as the pair was being arrested.
