The office of the Bronx Borough President is seeking interns for the fall 2009 and spring 2010 semesters.
Interns would work in an extremely active government office, located just a few feet from Yankee Stadium on 161st Street and the Grand Concourse.
Internships are unpaid, but college credit is available for those who qualify.
When applying, potential interns should submit a cover letter, resume, and writing sample to the email address below. Interns should also indicate what department they are interested in working for and discuss in their cover letter why they would be a good fit in that department.
Departments include, but are not limited to, planning, legal, policy, housing, health, communications, community and constituent services and economic development.
Starting and end dates for these internships, as well as hours per week, are flexible.
