Jacobi Medical Center and North Central Bronx Hospital invite neighborhood children to bring their injured or ripped stuffed animals and dolls in for repair at their Annual Teddy Bear Hospital. Missing a nose? Broken bones? Boo-boo’s? Have no fear! The doctors and nurses will fix it!
The events will be held on Tuesday, August 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Jacobi’s Farmer’s Market (Pelham Parkway South and Eastchester Road) and Wednesday, August 26 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at NCBH’s Annual Healthfest (Kossuth Avenue between 208th and 210th streets).
Free health screenings will be available at both sites. At NCBH’s Healthfest, DJ entertainment, safety booths, carnival games, educational activities, refreshments, raffles and free giveaways will also be available.
