40th PCT.

MON, AUG. 10th, 6:30 p.m. – St. Mary’s Park at Beekman Ave. Authorities are looking into the death of a Hispanic male. Police investigators believe that the victim might have died from a drug overdose. Expects from the Medical Examiner’s office will made the determination on how the man died.

MON, AUG. 10th, 9:50 p.m. – 504 Brook Ave. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated a Hispanic male. The Latino male had been shot in the hand, but was reported in stable condition.

FRI, AUG. 14th, 11:00 p.m. – Union Ave. and East 158 St. The emergency room staff at Lincoln Medical Center was called upon again to treated a male shooting victim. The 26th year old man had been shot in the left leg according to the medical staff.

41st PCT.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 3:10 a.m. – Intervale Ave. and East 163 St. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated a male who had been shot. The male victim arrived at the hospital suffering from a bullet wound to the groin area. Police are looking into the incident.

WED, AUG. 12th, 11:15 p.m. – 1053 Bryant Ave. Police officials were alerted that a partial power outage had occurred. At lease five building lost their electricity and Con Edison was notified. Electrical crews responded to assist with the repair work. Police ensured that none of the effected residents were on life support equipment.

42nd PCT.

MON, AUG. 10th, 12:25 a.m. – 1585 Washington Ave. Police were forced to taser a person threatening to take their own life. Authorities indicated that the emotionally disturbed person was threatening to jump. By using the taser, police officers were able to gain custody of the person without the person being injured.

TUES, AUG. 11th, 2:45 a.m. – Vyse Ave. and East 173 St. Authorities are looking into a shooting. An unidentified female required medical attention after being shot in the foot. Local sleuths will take care of the inquiry.

FRI, AUG. 14th, 1:00 a.m. – 500 East 171 St. Another illegal gun was removed from city streets. This time under cover police investigators arrested a suspect who was in possession of an unregistered 38-caliber revolver.

FRI, AUG. 14th, 4:15 p.m. – East 169 St. and Franklin Ave. Officials deployed additional police officers into the community to help search for a teen age boy. The 15 year old boy had just been discharged from a near-by hospital to the custody of his mother. He bolted from the woman and police were summoned to help search for the teen who is undergoing psychiatric care

SAT, AUG. 15th, 1:15 a.m. – Washington Ave. and East 169 St. The sounds of a gun being discharged was enough to cause police officers to respond into the community. Upon examination, police found that no one had been injured; however, there was damage to parked vehicles caused by the weapon discharge.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 1:25 a.m. – Prospect Ave. and East 163 St. A 19 year old Hispanic male was suffering from a bullet wound according to investigators at the crime scene. Officials at Lincoln Medical Center indicated that the male victim had been shot in the chest. Now, detectives will conduct the follow-up inquiry.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 3:00 a.m. – 1575 Vyse Ave. The driver of a livery cab not only lost his money, but also the vehicle that he was using to make a living. The culprit fled in the taxi before police were alerted to the incident.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 4:00 a.m. – 1163 Union St. Experts from the Police Department’s Emergency Service Squad saved another life. This time, these highly trained police officers stopped a man who was emotionally upset from taking his life. The man was threatening to jump to his death, but the ESS officers were able to gain control of the man. He was removed from the building and transported to Lincoln Medical Center for help.

43rd PCT.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 3:20 a.m. – 2124 Watson Ave. A search was conducted for three male culprits who invaded a home in the Sound View area. The trio climbed a ladder into the home of a young lady and an infant. The female victim was secured by the trio but received burses besides minor scrapes from the males. The baby escaped injury. Now police are tasked with locating the three culprits.

TUES, AUG. 11th, 1:00 a.m. – 1531 Beach Ave. A teenager was arrested after police officers found the boy with a gun. The 17 year old male was nabbed by undercover police officers with a 9-mm pistol.

TUES, AUG. 11th, 5:35 a.m. – 1334 Taylor Ave. A 61 year old man was attacked by an unknown person. Because of the incident, the Hispanic male was at Jacobi Medical Center fighting for his life after being stabbed multiple times. The man was suffering from wounds to the leg, abdomen, and arm when he arrived at the trauma center. Detectives are looking for the attacker.

FRI, AUG. 14th, 10:50 p.m. – Elder Ave. and Bruckner Blvd. A suspect was arrested after authorities recovered an unregistered handgun. The weapon was vouched for future use during an upcoming trial.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 2:20 a.m. – Chatterton Ave. and Castle Hill Ave. Police officials are looking into a stabbing that sent a black male to Jacobi Medical Center. The male victim was suffering from a wound to the chest area.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 3:45 a.m. – 1564 Taylor Ave. A 24 year old black male was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center. The man had been stabbed once in the lower left back during a dispute. Medical officials indicated that the male victim was in critical condition.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 5:15 a.m. – St. Raymond Ave. An off duty Corrections Officer was taken into police custody. The officer was charged with domestic assault.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 9:30 p.m. – 1145 Morrison Ave. A 15 year old black male was arrested when police found him to be in possession of a 38-caliber handgun.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 9:50 p.m. – Watson and Boynton Aves. Authorities are looking into a shooting that sent two males to Jacobi Medical Center. One victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the leg, while the other victim had a wound to the arm. An 18 year old Hispanic male was arrested after he was found with a 25-caliber pistol.

44th PCT.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 3:20 a.m. – Sheridan Ave. and East 168 St. Police officers were summoned to Bronx Lebanon Hospital after a teenager appeared at the hospital seeking assistance. The victim, an 18 year old Hispanic male, was suffering from a bullet wound to the buttocks. Patrol officers gathered information about the incident and forwarded the information to local detectives.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 2:50 a.m. – 993 Grant Ave. A 24 year old black male was rushed to Lincoln Medical Center. The young man had been shot in the chest according to officials who are looking into the attack.

45th PCT.

MON, AUG. 10th, 7:35 p.m. – Authorities are looking into a report that a person was sexually attacked by a black male. The male attacker took the victim into a basement of an apartment house where the person was sexually assaulted and robbed.

WED, AUG. 12th, 1:15 p.m. – 2065 Mayflower Ave. Police officers felt that they might have gotten lucky with a recent arrest. The officials received a tip concerning a burglary. Responding police officers were confronted with a barricade situation, but they were willing to wait for the suspect since the culprit might be connected to other incidents. After a while, a 49 year old black male was taken into custody ending a two hour stand-off. Now detectives will handle the remaining parts of the inquiry.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 8:45 a.m. – 3083 Middletown Rd. A search was conducted for three black males who robbed Chris’s Deli. In the process of committing the robbery, the trio assaulted an employee with a baseball bat. They fled the cash found inside the business.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 3:15 p.m. – Orchard Beach. A suspect was arrested and charged with assaulting a police officer. The officer received bruises and scratches to the face area. Afterwards, a second police officer was also assaulted.

46th PCT.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 1:45 a.m. – 365 Ford St. Police investigators are looking into a shooting that sent a woman to a neighborhood medical facility. A 32 year old Hispanic woman was suffering from a bullet wound to the leg when she arrived at St. Barnabas Hospital. Now, the inquiry into the shooting is in the hands of the local sleuths.

FRI, AUG. 14th, 12:20 a.m. – West 183 St. and Aqueduct Ave. Authorities are looking into a shooting that sent a male to St. Barnabas Hospital. Police investigators responded to try to gather evidence and search for potential witnesses. The male victim was reported to be in critical condition.

SAT, AUG. 15th, 12:30 a.m. – 240 East 175 St. The medical staff at St. Barnabas Hospital treated another shooting victim. This time a 10 year old boy received medical attention for a bullet wound to the foot. Detectives are conducting a follow-up inquiry.

47th PCT.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 4:30 a.m. – 3452 Ely Ave. Another gun was taken away from the Baychester community. Authorities arrested a 20 year old black male who was in possession of the unregistered gun.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 11:30 p.m. – East 239 St. A person appeared at North Central Bronx Hospital looking for help. The victim had been struck in the head with an unknown object.

TUES, AUG. 11th, 1:45 a.m. – 3663 Boston Rd. Authorities are looking for two black males. The team robbed a store in the Baychester area. One of the culprits jumped over the counter then proceeding to remove the cash draw at gunpoint. No injuries were reported.

WED, AUG. 12th, 11:05 p.m. – 3555 Bivona St. An undercover police investigator arrested a suspect who was in possession of an illegal handgun. This time a semi-automatic pistol was taken off the Baychester community streets. Authorities indicated that the weapon was defaced making it hard for officials to trace.

48th PCT.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 2:40 a.m. – Crescent St. and Camberleng Ave. Police officers were dispatched into the Belmont community after a 27 year old black male was stabbed multiple times. The victim was working at a local candy store as a security officer. He had a dispute with a Hispanic male. The culprit stabbed the 27 year old man once in the chest and twice in the arm. Police officials looking into the incident arrested a suspect. The injured man was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where he was provided with medical assistance.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 4:00 a.m. – Third Ave. and East 187 St. Authorities are looking into a reported stabbing. A black male was attacked by an unknown person and afterwards, he was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital for the wound. Now investigators are busy looking into the incident.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 4:10 a.m. – Bassford Ave. and East 185 St. A 35 year old black male required medical care after being shot. The medical staff at St. Barnabas Hospital indicated that the man had a bullet in the chest. He was listed in serious condition. Detectives are handling the follow-up inquiry.

WED, AUG. 12th, 1:25 a.m. – 667 East 187 St. Another illegal gun was removed from possible criminal use by local police officers. This time a 45-caliber handgun was vouched by arresting police officers.

WED, AUG. 12th, 9:20 p.m. – East 178 St. and Arthur Ave. A 32 year old Hispanic male was arrested when police officers found him with an unregistered handgun. Recovered by local patrol officers was a 22-caliber pistol.

FRI, AUG. 14th, 6:00 a.m. – 1016 Bronx Park South. One suspect was arrested as officials recovered two more illegal handguns. The weapons, a 32-caliber revolver and a 22-caliber semi-automatic pistol, were vouched for court use at a later day.

50th PCT.

WED, AUG. 12th, 7:20 a.m. – Van Courtlandt Ave. and Gale Pl. Detectives are waiting for the official results of the Medical Examiner’s autopsy before closing a case. The investigators were alerted after a body of a male was discovered. The body was lying face down according to officials. Police believe that the death was not suspicious, but only the ‘ME’ can make that determination.

WED, AUG. 12th, 9:30 p.m. – Van Cortland Park. Police nabbed a 23 year old black male who was in possession of an illegal gun. The weapon was removed from the culprit and vouched as evidence for an upcoming criminal trial.

52nd PCT.

SUN, AUG. 9th, 5:30 a.m. – 245 East Gun Hill Rd. The emergency room staff at Jacobi Medical Center treated a Hispanic male. The male victim was suffering from a bullet wound to the back. Despite being close to several other medical facilities, the injured man was transported to Jacobi where there is a medical trauma center.

TUES, AUG. 11th, 8:10 p.m. – West Fordham Rd. and Fordham Landing Road. A 28 year old male was arrested when he was found with two rifles. The weapons were vouched for the pending court case.

WED, AUG. 12th, 11:20 a.m. – East 194 St. and Kingsbridge Rd. Authorities are looking for a motorist who turned on a traffic officer. The city worker, while issuing a summons, was struck by the door of a vehicle. The motorist fled, disregarding the officer who was suffering from an injury to the hand. Detectives will continue with the inquiry.
