BCA to offer programs at Westchester Square

The Bronx Council on the Arts has a full slate of programs available at three Westchester Square locations, all part of a revitalization effort expected to spark a renaissance.

To make the Square a destination for those interested in the arts, BCA is offering programming at Huntington Free Library and the Westchester Square branch of the New York Public Library.

Included in the programming is a monthly writers workshop and a program on writing a novel in one-month, memoir writing workshop, crocheting and bead-making classes, an Eco Arts Workshop and much more.

“The Bronx Council on the Arts is integral to our efforts to reinvigorate the square, and their programs represent a fantastic opportunity to bring people into the square for programs in culture and the arts,” Councilman Vacca said.

“I urge everyone to take a look at the calendar and take advantage of these wonderful events and programs.”
