40th PCT.

SUN, OCT. 18th, 2:40 p.m. – 3103 Third Ave. An emotionally disturbed person caused injury to two police officers. The officers were attempting to gain custody of the person when they were injured. Both officers received medical treatment at St. Barnabas Hospital.

TUES, OCT. 20th, 7:00 p.m. – Alexander Ave. and East 143 St. Police officers were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle accident. A two vehicle accident occurred which included a livery cab officials indicated. Due to the seriousness of the injuries of one of the motorist, police are taking a closer look at this incident. But no criminality is currently suspected.

THURS, OCT. 22nd, 12:00 p.m. – Morris Ave. and East 150 St. Authorities arrested the person who pushed a city worker while on duty. The worker, a traffic agent, was harassed while issuing a summons.

THURS, OCT. 22nd, 10:00 a.m. – 855 Prospect Ave. Two arrests were made after a dispute occurred between two persons. Apparently a male and a female were involved in a dispute. Investigators learned that the female slashed the male. The incident is still being reviewed by local sleuths.

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 9:45 p.m. – 303 East 135 St. Another handgun was removed from Bronx streets. This time a 22-caliber revolver was taken off the streets.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 2:45 p.m. – 750 East 163 St. Authorities are looking into a shooting. Apparently a female was struck by a ‘BB’. Officials believe that the culprit was a 15 year old male.

41st PCT.

MON, OCT. 19th, 2:30 p.m. – 1340 Seneca Ave. A culprit was arrested thanks to the effects of an off duty police officer after committing a robbery. The officer nabbed the suspect after a 42 year old Hispanic male had been robbed. The Latino man was punched in the face and had lost three hundred dollars to the would-be-thief.

THURS, OCT. 22nd, 12:25 a.m. – 1122 Intervale Ave. A 27 year old Hispanic male ended up in trouble with the law. The Latino man was arrested when police officers found him with a 357-caliber revolver.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 12:55 a.m. – 834 East 161 St. Police officers while on patrol recovered a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol. The weapon was vouched so that it will be help as evidence for an upcoming court hearing.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 11:20 a.m. – 1051 Westchester Ave. Police officers responding to a reported bank robbery required additional assistance. A black male entered the bank placing what appeared to be a bomb in front of a counter. The thief was provided with an unknown amount of money before fleeing the establishment. Experts from the Emergency Service Squad were summoned to the facility to take a closer look at the package before anyone was permitted to touch it. Once the suspicious package was deemed to be safe, it was removed from the bank and the investigation continued. Additional police officers had been deployed into the area to assist with various police related tasks.

42nd PCT.

TUES, OCT. 20th, 2:30 p.m. – 540 East 169 St. A family dispute ended with both the husband and wife being arrested. Apparently the husband was stabbed three times during the dispute with wounds to the arm and shoulder areas. The man was transported to Lincoln Medical Center where he received treatment for his wounds. Now detectives will look into the incident.

43rd PCT.

TUES, OCT. 20th, 4:00 p.m. – 1967 Turnbull Ave. Authorities are looking into a dispute that ended with a person being shot. During a two person dispute, a gun was pulled out by one of the participants. The second person was shot once, and transported to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment. Responding police officers recovered evidence at the scene that can be used possibly to help identify the culprit who was described as a black male.

WED, OCT. 21st, 9:40 p.m. – 710 Noble Ave. Police nabbed a male culprit who was in possession of an unregistered gun. The weapon was removed from the culprit and vouched for future court use.

WED, OCT. 21st, 11:40 p.m. – Authorities were alerted that a 19 year old female was sexually attacked at gunpoint. The young victim was forced to perform sexual acts by the male culprit. The teenage victim was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for assistance as police attempted to find the male attacker.

44th PCT.

THURS, OCT. 22nd, 11:20 a.m. – 1053 Ogden Ave. Police investigators are looking into a shooting that sent a 33 year old man to a local hospital. The middle age man was suffering from a bullet wound to the chest area.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 2:30 a.m. – 311 East 170 St. A 45-caliber semi-automatic pistol was taken off of local Morrisiana streets. The weapon was vouched after officers confirmed that its owner did not posses a license for the gun.

45th PCT.

MON, OCT. 19th, 3:35 a.m. – 1405 Kearney Ave. Authorities are looking into the death of a 36 year old Latino woman. The victim’s body was found in the woman’s home by her husband after she apparently took her own life.

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 1:25 a.m. – 2847 Lamport Pl. A police officer assigned to the Bronx Task Force arrested a 29 year old Hispanic male. The culprit was in possession of a 9-mm pistol when nabbed by a police officer.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 9:20 a.m. – 120 Bellamy Loop. Police responded to the Co-op City housing development after a teen was attacked. Arriving police officers found a 19 year old black male who was suffering from a stab wound to the shoulder. The teen was taken to Jacobi Medical Center and provided with medical assistance.

46th PCT.

MON, OCT. 19th, 6:10 a.m. – 1522 University Ave. A 22-caliber revolver was taken off the streets of the West Bronx. The weapon was vouched for a pending court hearing.

MON, OCT. 19th, 7:15 p.m. – 214 East 188 St. Authorities are conducting a search for a person who threw a soda can at a traffic agent. The city worker dropped the summons scanner breaking the device. The culprit fled, but investigators are conducting the inquiry.

TUES, OCT. 20th, 8:40 p.m. – 1955 Sedgwick Ave. A suspect was taken to jail after being found in possession of an unregistered handgun. Removed from the 22 year old culprit was a 38-caliber revolver.

WED, OCT. 21st, 7:15 a.m. – West Burnside Ave. and Jerome Ave. A male suspect was arrested was arrested after he was nabbed with a registered gun. The culprit can be facing a year in jail if found guilty during his upcoming trail.

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 2:35 p.m. – 2135 Davidson Ave. Additional police officers were deployed into the west Bronx area. A 17 year old black male teen had been found suffering from a bullet wound to the right leg. Additional police officers were deployed into the area to help search for the suspect. The teenage victim was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital for medical assistance.

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 5:05 p.m. – Grand Ave. and West 183 St. Another suspect was arrested after being found with a hand gun. Upon checking it was learned that the culprit failed to have a permit for the weapon. The 38-caliber revolver was vouched for future court use.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 4:15 a.m. – Jerome Ave. and East 183 St. Two Hispanic males were transported to St. Barnabas Hospital. The two male victims were suffering from stab wounds, one to the chest area and the second victim’s wound was in the abdomen. Both victims were reported to be in stable condition. Patrol officers turned their paper work over to members of the detective squad so that a follow-up inquiry could be conducted.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 4:45 a.m. – 130 West Kingsbridge Rd. A person who was slashed during an incident required medical assistance. The 35 year old Hispanic male walked into the nearest medical facility, the Bronx Veteran’s Hospital, seeking help. The man was suffering from a slash wound to the left side of the face. Police were summoned and an inquiry is underway.

47th PCT.

SUN, OCT. 18th, 5:35 a.m. – 671 East 230 St. Police officers on patrol in the Wakefield community nabbed a person who was in possession of an unregistered gun. Recovered by police was a 40-caliber semi-automatic pistol.

TUES, OCT. 20th, 9:05 a.m. – 725 Tilden St. The staff at St. Barnabas Hospital assisted a male who had been slashed. The culprit apparently used a knife during the slashing attack.

TUES, OCT. 20th, 5:55 p.m. – 731 East 224 St. Police officers launched a massive investigation into the senseless death of a 93 year old woman. A bullet had been fired through a window striking the elderly woman in the back. She was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where she expired authorities indicated. Additional police officers have been assigned to help with the investigation of this incident.

WED, OCT. 21st, 2:00 a.m. – East 233 St. and Baychester Ave. Official are looking for the person who was operating a Kia vehicle. Investigators looking into an assault upon a 36 year old black male indicated that the victim had been stabbed five times. He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment of his various wounds. The suspect was described as a black male.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 11:40 p.m. – 697 East Gun Hill Rd. A search was conducted for five males who robbed a commercial premise. The group made off with in the area of 15 thousand dollars without displaying any weapons. The incident is under investigation.

48th PCT.

WED, OCT. 21st, 2:00 a.m. – Third Ave. and East 182 St. Police investigators were summoned to the emergency room of St. Barnabas Hospital. Officers were informed that a 29 year old black male walked into the hospital seeking treatment for two stab wounds. Due to the seriousness of the wounds, the unidentified victim was rushed into the operating room.

WED, OCT. 21st, 11:20 a.m. – 924 East 181 St. Federal investigators were alerted that a mailman had been robbed while on duty. The postal employee was in the process of delivering packages when the culprit attacked the worker, banging the head of the mailman into a concrete pillar. An ambulance was called since the victim went into a diabetic shock.

THURS, OCT. 22nd, 2:45 p.m. – 1010 East 178 St. A 54 year old man ended up behind bars as police officers processed his arrest forms. The man was nabbed while in possession of an unregistered 38-caliber revolver.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 3:45 a.m. – 2405 Crotona Ave. An arrest was made as authorities looked into a reported stabbing. A male had been stabbed once with a wound to the arm. The wound was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital by the emergency room staff.

49th PCT.

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 9:30 a.m. – 1935 Barnes Ave. An unregistered handgun was taken away from a 44 year old Caucasian male. The arrest and seizure of the 44-caliber gun was made by local patrol officers.

52nd PCT.

TUES, OCT. 20th, 1:15 p.m. – 2285 Jerome Ave. Police officers were called to the former fire station that currently houses a city ambulance station. Officials received reports that a male had been shot. Responding officers found a male suffering from a bullet wound to the lower left leg. Additional police officers were deployed into the area as investigators started an inquiry. The sleuths learned that the bullet was apparently self-inflicted.

THURS, OCT. 22nd, 5:35 p.m. – 3200 Decatur Ave. Police officers were kept at bay for some 40 minutes by an emotional disturbed person. At 6:20 p.m. the person was taken into custody.

THURS, OCT. 22nd, 9:15 p.m. – 2322 Andrews Ave. A 25 year old black male was suffering from a bullet wound to the leg as a second male was shot in the arm. Police officers were dispatched to St. Barnabas Hospital where they interviewed the victims so that they could obtain information about the incident. Both men were reported to be in stable condition.

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 6:25 a.m. – 3070 Bainbridge Ave. A 24 year old Latino male was found with a bullet wound to the right tip area by the medical experts at Jacobi Medical Center. The victim of the shooting found his own way to the hospital looking for medical assistance. Police were summoned to the busy hospital and the inquiry was started at that point.

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 11:05 a.m. – 215 East 197 St. A suspect was arrested as police again removed another illegal gun from Bronx streets. This time a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol was recovered.

Housing

FRI, OCT. 23rd, 2:50 p.m. – Police officers from Housing’s PSA # 7 were alerted that a Latino female was sexually attacked inside of one of their developments. The woman was transported to Lincoln Medical Center for specialized care. The investigation is being assisted by members of Special Victim’s Squad.

SAT, OCT. 24th, 6:50 a.m. – 1465 Bronx River Ave. A person who had been assaulted was provided with medical care at Montifiore Hospital. Investigators from the 43rd Pct. Squad and officers from Housing’s PSA # 8 are hoping for a quick arrested in this incident.
