An injured Red Tail Hawk was found in Pelham Bay Park by naturalists Jorge Santiago and Thomas X. Casey just off the Siwanoy Trail, close to the Bartow Circle. Urban Park Rangers Sergeant Pendergrass gently captured the injured male hawk and placed it in a cage. It will be given medical attention, and once healed, will be returned to the park.
