Begin your holiday celebration 2009 with a chorus that is truly in celebration mode. The Parkchester Chorus, under the talented direction of Lorraine C. Nanko, invites you to attend and join in the celebration of their 70th annual holiday concert. The chorus will sing praises of the season at the First Presbyterian Church at Throggs Neck, 3051 E. Tremont Avenue, on Sunday, December 13, at 3 p.m. The program is especially exciting as highlights from Handel’s Messiah; Christmas classics and modern carols along with international and traditional music from other religions will be presented.
Nanko recently marked her 20th year directing Parkchester Chorus and plans to continue directing Parkchester Chorus.
