AFC Rapid Soccer highlights and scores for Week XII

As frost starts to appear on the pumpkins AFC Rapid starts to wind down preparing for the holidays. The highlights for week 12 are as follows:

The team played flawlessly against a tough ABCO, with the “O” from Bryanna Morales, Jessica Piazza, Zachary Smith and Kevin Peters. The “D” came from William Postaclu.

The mariners from S & J Marine “sailed past” NCJA Income Tax, 3-2. The engine ran under the power of Angelo Gugliara (2) and Steven Von Kessel (1). Pushing the offense were Chris Von Kesel, Emmitt Foxe and Chris Serrano. Manning the pumps were Blaise Narcisco ( goalie), Matt Aquino, Joe Leidy, Thomas Maher, Nick Gjonaj, David Morsn and Peter Mullane. C I Contracting continued their unbeaten season defeating Fiddlers Elbow, 4-1. The goals were scored by Jonathan Neill (2), Ashley Pacheco (1) and Daniela Zirpolo (1), with assists from Michael Kroner, Justin Ortiz, Leo Kibler and Angelina Sanabria. Holding a strong defense were Patrick Baumgardner, James Leidy and Brian Casady.

Ann Clair Catering “sank” Throgs Neck Clipper, 5-0. The cannon fire came from Javier Carrillo (3), Alexis Bholalall (1) and Danny Carrillo (1). Midfield was controlled by Denis Bryne and Thomas Berry. The fullback line of Silvio Palumbo, Daniel Gilliano and Mat Orbetello held the defense.

McNulty’s F.H. prescribed no goals for Pro Active Therapy, 4-0. The Goals were scored by Nicky Kola (2), Aiden Kimmel (1) and Brian Kimmel, with an assist from Craig Brandstetter. Additional stellar play from Kelly Crorkin, Peter Shadwick and Riley Walsh.

Barino’s Market “cancelled the contract” at Franchise Contractors, 2-0. Assists from Mike Crorkin and Justin McConville set up the goals of Nico Sacco. Thye shutout was pitched by the goalie tandem of Bobby Gilbert and Peter Wiehler,defensively aided by Nathalie Vincent & Katherine Carew. Playing short handed, the Franchise players played their hearts out. The players were Brandon Waldren, Anthony Marks, Joseph Gabrielle, Bryanna Sanabria, Ryan Leviness and Julian Zefi.

The athletes from Edgewater defeated Advance Solution, 2-0. Throwing the discuss into the net were Joey Mosiello and Keith Lancaster. The “D” was supplied by Derrick Solaro.
