40th PCT.

MON, NOV. 30th, 5:20 a.m. – 604 Union Ave. A 28 year old Latino male was attacked and robbed by an unknown group of Hispanic males. The attackers struck the victim’s face in addition to taking a cell phone and a watch.

MON, NOV. 30th, 9:15 a.m. – 600 St. Ann’s Ave. An alert school safety officer nabbed a student who was carrying a handgun into school with him. The 13 year old Hispanic male student had a 38-caliber gun in his waist band upon entering the education facility. Inside the young culprit’s school bag were several bullets for the revolver.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 1:30 p.m. – Melrose Ave. and East 154 St. A 31 year old black male was taken into custody after he was found in possession of a semi-automatic pistol.

WED, DEC. 2nd, 7:05 p.m. – 810 East 149 St. Emergency workers came to the aid of a 32 year old Hispanic male. The man had been stabbed in both the right forearm and left wrist. The injured man was transported to Lincoln Medical Center as detectives started to gather information about the incident.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 2:00 a.m. – 645 Prospect Ave. A 44 year old Hispanic male walked into Eisenstein Hospital seeking medical help. The man had been stabbed once in the leg in additional to a slash wound to the arm.

41st PCT.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 3:50 a.m. – 1152 Randall Ave. Two victims of a shooting were taken to Lincoln Medical Center while a third victim of the incident appeared at Bronx Lebanon Hospital seeking medical care. The two injured parties at Lincoln were suffering from bullet wounds to the leg areas. Detectives were busy interviewing those injured and looking for witnesses who could fill in some of the missing information about the incident.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 8:55 p.m. – 737 Southern Blvd. Police are looking into a homicide after the male victim of a shooting expired at the hospital. The victim expired at Lincoln Medical Center at 9:25 p.m. after being shot in the chest.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 3:15 p.m. – 932 Kelly St. A police search paid off as officers found a vehicle that was wanted in connection with a shooting. The vehicle was located in the Hunts Point area, off of Garrison. A male had been shot in the buttocks authorities indicated. The victim walked into Lincoln Medical Center seeking their assistance for treating the wound.

FRI, DEC. 4th, 1:00 p.m. – Bruckner Expwy. and Hunts Point Ave. A woman lost her life after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident on the upper level of the interstate roadway. The female motorist was thrown from the roadway to the railroad tracks below. The incident caused officials to have train traffic on the main route for Amtrak between New York and Boston halted for several hours. Officers from Highway 1’s Accident Investigation Squad responded to the scene to collect evidence.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 2:40 a.m. – 926 Southern Blvd. Two more arrest were made after police recovered another illegal handgun. This time taken off of the local streets was a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol.

42nd PCT.

THURS, DEC. 3rd, 12:05 p.m. – 929 Prospect Ave. Emergency units responded to a five story apartment building. A window ledge on the 4th floor came free of the building. Officials indicated that no one was injured, and there was no major damage done to the building.

FRI, DEC. 4th, 11:00 p.m. – 1580 Hoe Ave. Authorities are looking for the person who fired a shot through an apartment window. Police officers at the scene recovered evidence that could be used to help identify the gun that was used. No injuries were reported.

43rd PCT.

THURS, DEC. 3rd, 8:15 a.m. – 2002 McGraw Ave. Police were dispatched to the Parkchester area after a man when completely out of control inside a Botanical store. Local police officers summoned officers from the Emergency Service Squad to the scene when the man decided to lock himself inside the business. Once in custody after being tasered, the man was removed to an area hospital for treatment.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 1:30 a.m. – 535 Havemeyer Ave. Authorities are looking into an incident where several bullets were fired into an apartment door. Police responders found three bullet holes in the door. Now detectives are handling the inquiry.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 7:00 p.m. – Castle Hill Ave. and Powell Ave. The staff at Jacobi Medical Center Emergency Room treated a male who had been shot in the stomach. The victim was reported in stable condition. Local detectives will look for the responsible culprit.

44th PCT.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 7:25 p.m. – Teller Ave. and East 165 St. The staff at Lincoln Medical Center treated a 27 year old black male. The man arrived at the hospital suffering from a stab wound to the right side of the chest area. Patrol officers searched for evidence and possible witnesses. The information was turned over to detectives for their follow-up inquiry.

MON, NOV. 30th, 8:20 p.m. – Findlay Ave. and East 166 St. Police were summon to Bronx Lebanon Hospital after a 23 year old man arrived there on his own power. The 23 year old male had been suffering from a bullet wound to the leg area. Police officers went to the shooting scene to look for evidence and witnesses.

MON, NOV. 30th, 9:00 p.m. – College Ave. and East 163 St. Authorities are looking into an attack that sent the victim to Lincoln Medical Center. The hospital staff treated the crime victim for a stab wound to the back that was received from an unknown attacker.

WED, DEC. 2nd, 1:15 a.m. – River Ave. and East 153 St. Police were alerted that there was a body floating in the Harlem River. Emergency units responded including a police boat to help with the recovery operation. At the scene, authorities were unable to readily identify the victim. The remains were turned over to the Medical Examiner’s officer so that investigators could be provided with additional information.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 10:15 a.m. – 1212 Grant Ave. Police are looking for the person who shot an elderly person. A 71 year old Hispanic man was suffering from a bullet wound to the mouth area when he arrived at Lincoln Medical Center. Local detectives will handle the inquiry.

45th PCT.

THURS, DEC. 3rd, 1:20 p.m. – 25 Westchester Square. A male motorist was arrested after damaging city equipment. The male, apparently irate while being issued a parking summons, threw the traffic enforcement agent’s computer equipment. Responding police officer arrested the male assailant.

FRI, DEC. 4th, 9:45 a.m. – 170 Dreiser Loop. A man with a history of mental illness apparently took his own life in Co-op City. The unidentified man jumped from the 12th floor window, expiring on the scene.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 2:30 a.m. – Clarence and Randall Aves. The staff at Einstein Hospital worked on a person who was suffering from a stab wound. The victim received the wound while having a dispute over a female.

46th PCT.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 2:15 a.m. – Valentine Ave. and East 182 St. Two persons were arrested while a gun was recovered. Responding police officers found a man with a bullet wound to the head. He was transported to St. Barnabas Hospital where he expired shortly after 10 a.m.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 11:30 p.m. – Authorities are searching for the culprit who sexually attacked a victim. Police were informed that the victim had been forcibly raped. Special Victim Squad investigators will assist with the inquiry.

MON, NOV. 30th, 9:00 p.m. – Police investigators were informed that a woman indicated that she had been sexually assaulted by several different males. The victim explained that she had been raped by the attackers in several different locations.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 2:30 a.m. – Police are looking to question a black male who is possibly in his twenties. The man is wanted in connection with a sexually assault on a 21 year old Latino female.

SAT, DEC. 5th, 8:10 a.m. – 1750 Davidson Ave. Officials were looking into a death. Officials believe that the person apparently died from an overdose.

47th PCT.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 1:40 a.m. – 863 East 222 St. A landlord tenant dispute ended with one person possibly heading to jail after the other participant died. If the culprit is found guilty during a criminal trail they could be facing several years behind bars. The assault victim expired at Jacobi Medical Center at 2:15 a.m. after being stabbed.

TUES, DEC. 1st, – 910 East Gun Hill Rd. Manhattan police arrested the parents of a malnourished child that was taken to a hospital outside the Bronx. Officials at Mt. Sinai Hospital indicated that the young victim was in critical but stable condition.

WED, DEC. 2nd, 1:15 p.m. – 928 East 225 St. Police are looking into a weapon firing. A bullet was fired through a residential window. Responding police officers upon searching recovered the fired round which will be used as evidence. No injuries were reported.

THURS, DEC. 3rd, 11:10 p.m. – Carpenter Ave. and East 230 St. A 33 year old Hispanic male was arrested when he was found in possession of a 9-mm semi-automatic pistol.

48th PCT.

SUN, DEC. 6th, 7:55 a.m. – 2414 Belmont Ave. Police officials received a call indicating that a male had assaulted his girlfriend. The caller also indicated that the woman was being held in the apartment. Local police officers requested the services of units from the Emergency Service Division. Police officers attempted to contact the occupant but were shocked when the occupant opened the door, the police were informed that there was nothing going on inside the home.

49th PCT.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 10:40 p.m. – 2290 Boston Rd. Investigators are looking to arrest the two Caucasian males who not only robbed a gas station, but also pistol whipped the victim. At gunpoint, the pair robbed the gas station by empting the cash register. Before fleeing the victim was attacked and struck by one of the culprits who used the gun as a weapon to injury the victim.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 6:55 a.m. – Arnow Ave. and Olinville Ave. The driver of a mini-school bus was assaulted and had the vehicle hijacked by a group of students. The vehicle was found at Astor Ave. and Bronxwood Ave. Meanwhile, the school bus driver was treated at Jacobi Medical Center for injuries received.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 11:50 p.m. – 1742 Unionport Rd. A 19 year old male was arrested after he was found in possession of a 22-caliber handgun. Taken into custody was Sharif Thompson by local patrol officers.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 6:00 p.m. – 2725 Cruger Ave. A search was conducted for two males who invaded a home. None of the occupants were injured, but one of the culprit’s did display a handgun to the victim. An unknown amount of property was taken.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 11:10 p.m. – 797 Allerton Ave. Impersonating police officers, two Hispanic males assaulted the occupant of a commercial premise before committing a robbery. The male victim was struck in the face as he opened a door for the two culprits. The perpetrators fled with five thousand dollars.

FRI, DEC. 4th, 11:15 p.m. – 1845 Tomlinson Ave. The body of a 61 year old man was discovered after the man apparently took his own life. The body was released to the Medical Examiner’s office so that investigators could see if there was any other suspicious foul play.

52nd PCT.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 3:00 a.m. – A young teenager was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital after being struck by a vehicle. Officials indicated that the vehicle fled the accident scene leaving behind a critically injured 15 year old boy. The teen was admitted to the hospital where authorities indicated that he was not breathing on his own, possibly due to internal trauma.

SUN, NOV. 29th, 5:20 p.m. – A suspect was arrested after authorities learned that a 14 year old Latino girl was sexually assaulted.

MON, NOV. 30th, 5:55 a.m. – Jerome Ave. and East 204 St. A 30 year old Hispanic woman was arrested when she was found with a stolen motor vehicle. The vehicle apparently was taken from a location in Midtown Manhattan the previous day.

TUES, DEC. 1st, 12:55 a.m. – Bedford Park area. An off duty public servant was assaulted and robbed by an unknown culprit. The female government employee, a correction officer, had her bag taken with contained her badge in addition to her identification card.

Fire Log

SUN, NOV. 29th, 8:40 p.m. – 2700 Kingsbridge Terr. Firefighters raced to a six-story high apartment house where a fire had been traveling between floors undetected in the walls. Before the incident was declared under control, eight apartments were damaged in the two alarm blaze. Once the alarm was received firefighters were on the scene within four minutes of fire dispatchers receiving the call. The incident commander realized that the fire was traveling from the third floor toward the roof, additional help was quickly summon within ten minutes. Some 12 additional minutes went by before a second alarm was sounded doubling the number of firefighters at the scene. Ladder crews keep checking on the fire’s extension and were able to cut it off on the 5th floor as engine crew’s poured water onto the traveling flames. A near-by nursing home was not affected by the fire.
