Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) presents Neighborhood Action Plan

Neighborhood Advisory Council (NAC) presents its Strategic Neighborhood Action Plan that addresses quality of life issues that affect the total fabric of our community such as housing, education, health, employment and crime. The NAC invites all residents, organizations, churches, all stakeholders and institutions to a NAC community building meeting on January 29.

The meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mid Bronx Council, 900 Grand Concourse.

The Neighborhood Advisory Council is a community-driven alliance comprised of residents, public/government officials, faith and community-based organizations and businesses whose mission is to improve service delivery systems; promote community and economic development planning within the South Bronx. All community residents, non-profit organizations and elected officials who have constituents who live in the catchments area which has been defined as south of the Cross Bronx Expressway are invited to lend their voices to the commitment of improving the quality of life and to help bring transparency to the process of participation in the development of the south Bronx.

The meeting will be hosted by Mid-Bronx Council Services and Nos Quedamos. Both organizations have many years of non-profit experience and have played an integral role as major providers of services and programs to our south Bronx communities.
