Throggs Neck Homeowners Assciation

Throggs Neck Bridge Update_ I wanted to give you a heads up that the next stage in the ongoing deck reconstruction at the Queens approach to the Throgs Neck Bridge is coming up, most likely starting the week of March 15th.For this stage, the Cross Island Parkway southbound off-ramp will be reduced to one lane in a section at the top of the ramp, then flow back into two lanes as it descends onto the Cross Island Parkway. Also, there will be two slightly narrowed lanes running from the bridge onto the Clearview Expressway southbound. The work zone are will be in the middle area. This period, as previously discussed, will last until end of April, then the ramp lane closure will switch sides, one lane remaining open still. The work is being done this way so that all work in this area will be finished before July 4th.Keep this in mind when you are traveling in the coming weeks.

Our Next Meeting will be on Tuesday, March 30,at 7:30 p.m., at the beautiful Villa Barone Manor. We will have community CPR trainers from the FDNY so we will be able to give emergency CPR until help arrives. You never know when you will need this important skill, so please be there to learn. It may be the most important thing you learn, which may save the life of someone you love. We look forward to seeing you there!
