The Lascivious Biddies to perform at Jacobi

Jacobi Medical Center invites community members to a free concert featuring The Lascivious Biddies on Wednesday, May 19 at the Jacobi Rotunda.Light refreshments and health information will be provided at 9:30 a.m. with the performance following at 10:30 a.m. The Rotunda is located on the Jacobi campus at 1400 Pelham Parkway South.

The Biddies’ irrepressible sound has earned them an avid following throughout the U.S.

Blending jazz, pop, and cabaret with soaring harmonies, this all female trio demonstrates both expert musicianship and sharp wit. They have performed at some of the nation’s hottest venues, from the Kennedy Center to Birdland, and have appeared with Bobby Flay on Food Nation and on the Discovery Channel. Their music is featured often on NPR and the BBC.

In October, Musical Connections, a program of The Weill Music Institute at Carnegie Hall, partnered with Jacobi to offer free concerts and musical workshops on the campus.This concert will be the final performance in the series at Jacobi for the season.
