Bronx Week 2014 on from May 8-18

The annual celebration of the best of the borough – Bronx Week 2014 – is almost here.

This year’s Bronx Week, a celebration with roots going all the way back to 1971, will be an exciting celebration with numerous events taking place all throughout the borough from Thursday, May 8 to Sunday, May 18.

Each inductee gets a street sign with their name placed along the boulevard, and those signs are unveiled by the honorees in an event at on Sunday, May 18 at 11 a.m.

They will also receive awards at the Bronx Ball, an annual black-tie gala on Saturday, May 17 at Orchard Beach that is a major gathering of the borough’s business, arts, and civic leaders. For tickets, tables and advertising opportunities, please call (718) 590-2502.
