Go local team! Throgs Neck Little League’s 12-U Allstars (12 and under) team advanced in New York Little League’s Section 5 tournament to an important game played on Long Island against a powerhouse little league team from Staten Island on Thursday, July 17. The team has captured the Little League’s District 5, which means they have won all of the Bronx in another tournament. New York Little League’s Section 5, covers teams from all of New York City and Long Island. This is all in an effort to get to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA.
