The bride, 29, will be taking the groom’s surname. Born and raised in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx, she is an English adjunct lecturer at two CUNY universities, as well as a poet and writer.

The groom, 35, was born and raised in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx.
