On Thursday, October 16, the Liberty Democratic Association held their seventh annual awards dinner at Maestro’s Caterers. The evening’s honorees included Hon. Carl Heastie, chairman of Bronx Democratic County Committee; Patrick Dolan Jr., president of Steamfitters Local 638; Kenny Agosto, LDA co-founder; Pastor Jay Gooding Sr., Fellowship Tabernacle Church of God In Christ; Sherry M. Speirs-Scanlon, Pelham Bay Home Center, Inc.; the late Arthur Schwartz, and Katheleen Bornkamp, principal of P.S. 97.
