The 161st Street Business Improvement District teamed up with GROWNYC and the MidBronx Head Start program to put on a pumpkin parade on Tuesday, October 28.

The four-year olds marched down the Grand Concourse in pumpkin masks, made in their classrooms, to the farmers market at Kilmer Park. There they received treats and mini-pumpkins, courtesy of the BID.

The NYC Department of Health cooking station shared pumpkin recipes and samples with the children and their teachers as well.
