Throggs Neck Benevolent Association holds 5K Turkey Trot at Orchard Beach

The Throggs Neck Benevolent Association held its 19th Annual 5 kilometer Turkey Trot walk and run to benefit the charitable organization on Saturday, November 22 at Orchard Beach. The TNBA lends a helping hand to people in the Throggs Neck community who are affected by catastrophic illness or serious accidents. The 5k is held every year in memory of Geraldine Crowley-Crorkin. Trophies were given to the more serious runners. An after-the-race party was held at Brewski’s. The TNBA’s next big event will be its annual dinner dance at Marina del Rey on Saturday, January 24, 2015.
