The Forum of Italian American Educators (FIAME) hosted their annual book talk and signing on Thursday, November 20. This year’s guest author was Lisa Fantino, who wrote Shrouded in Pompei, the first of a mystery series, and Amalfi Blue, a memoir about romance in Italy. In addition to being an author, Fantino is an attorney and an award winning journalist, who worked at CBS. The audience was treated to a talk on the books’ plots, the writing process, and readings from the two books. The event took place at Palombo’s Pastry in Belmont.
