Waterbury-LaSalle Community Association hosted their annual tree lighting on Sunday, December 14 across the street from the the First Lutheran Church of Throggs Neck. Local residents enjoyed cookies and hot chocolate while they waited for Santa Claus to arrive on a horse-pulled carriage, portraying the image of a reindeer pulling Santa’s sleigh, after which St. Nick took photos with the kids and handed out gifts.
