Musical Prodigy

P.S. 71 parent Michael Croce has a lot to report about the school’s annual Holiday Show on Tuesday, December 16. Children from various grade levels sang songs and performed dance numbers.

Croce also reports that one of evening’s stars was his seven-year old daughter, 2nd grade student Angela Croce, who performed a song she composed with the guidance of Eric Gaffney, her private instructor.

Michael writes:

This was the first time Angela had performed in front of a large crowd, and her performance of Sparkling Sunshine was met with a standing ovation upon its completion. She is an aspiring musician and has been creating music since she was old enough to speak. Her humble nature inspires everyone around her. She requested that her performance that evening be dedicated to her 4 year old younger brother, Kubrick, who was celebrating his birthday that day. We are all looking forward to the exceptional things to come from this talented young musician. We couldn’t be prouder of her and what she has been able to accomplish in such a short period of time. We love her with all our hearts. God bless her and we wish her nothing but success and happiness in all of her future endeavors.
