New York City Comptroller Scott M. Stringer held a press conference with members of Community Action for Safe Apartments outside of Bronx County Housing Court on Wednesday, February 4, to announce his support for City legislation to provide attorneys for New Yorkers facing eviction or foreclosures. Before the announcement, Stringer toured the court and commented on the impediments placed before those who come to the court, including the lack of signage.
