Councilman Andy King recognized the Williamsbridge branch of the NAACP at the organization’s headquarters at 680 E. 219th Street in honor of Black History Month on Thursday, February 12. The event included participating in the 12th District Operation Cleaner Streets Program, which involved cleaning up in vicinity of the branch’s Early Childhood Education Center. King also presented a NYC Council Proclamation to NAACP’s Williamsbridge branch president Julian McDavid.
