15th Annual Gladys Ricart Brides March

The 15th Annual Gladys Ricart and Victims of Domestic Violence Memorial/Brides’ March was held on Saturday, September 26 at Monroe College to raise awareness of domestic violence and honor the memory of Washington Heights native, Gladys Ricart who was murdered by her abusive ex-boyfriend on her wedding day in September 1999.

Gloria Alfinez gives an emotionally stirring address during the event.
