Four people miraculously survived a destructive two-car crash last week in Pelham Bay. According to police, on Sunday, July 29 just before 6 a.m., Ricky Biqiri, the 26-year-old driver of a gray 2017 Chevy Malibu, was alledgedly speeding up Westchester Avenue while under the influence of alcohol. Biqiri lost control, smashing into several pillars and collided with a silver 2015 Buick Encalve speeding east on Westchester Avenue near Sands Place. Medics rushed Biqiri and the Enclave’s three occupants to Jacobi Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
