Action Environmental Services, the longtime official solid waste and recycling provider for the New York Yankees and Mets, made a creative tribute to its two biggest supporters by designing two of its trucks with the teams’ logos with the teams’ blessing.
The trucks hit the road in the Bronx and Queens on Sunday, March 19 and made stops at Liberty State Park and Times Square.
Throughout the season, as the trucks drive their routes, fans can cheer on their team.
The idea was the brainchild of Action Environmental Services CEO Ron Bergamini.
