The Bronx will lend its full support to breast cancer survivors in several boroughwide events.

Jacobi Medical Center’s Breast Imaging Center offers walk-in screening mammograms weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Building 6, 3rd Floor Room 3D.

Mammograms will be provided with an order written by your doctor and must be a year and one day after your last mammogram.

Extended hours, by appointment only, are available to 7 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Montefiore Einstein Center for Cancer Care will host several Bronx Oncology Living Daily events for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

BOLD Mind-Body Support is Fridays, October 13, 20 and 27 from noon to 1:30 p.m. at 1625 Poplar Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room.

BOLD Crochet Group is Mondays, October 16, 23 and 30 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at 1625 Poplar Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room.

BOLD Gentle Yoga will be Mondays, October 16, 23 and 30 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at 1695 Eastchester Road, 2nd Floor Conference Room.

Yoga classes at 1625 Poplar Street, 2nd Floor Conference Room are Thursdays, October 19 and 26 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.

BOLD Crafts and Jewelry Making is Monday, October 16 from noon to 2 p.m. at 1521 Jarrett Place, 2nd Floor Conference Room B.

BOLD’s ‘Telling Your Life Story: A Way to Understand Your Past and Take Charge of Your Future’ is Monday, October 23 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 1521 Jarrett Place, 2nd Floor Conference Room B.

On Friday, October 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., St. Barnabas Hospital’s Mobile Mammography Unit will be stationed at Mott Hall Community School on 650 Hollywood Avenue.

The mobile unit provides comprehensive breast education, on-site mammography for women 40-years-old and over, diagnostic follow-up services, free mammograms for women with no insurance and accepts most types of health insurance.

American Italian Cancer Foundation’s Mobile Care Clinic offers free digital mammograms and clinical breast exams on Friday, October 13 from 9 a.m. to noon at 1043 Southern Boulevard.

Women 40-years-old and over residing in NYC who have not had a mammogram in the past year are eligible.

No co-pays required, deductibles are waived and uninsured patients are welcome at this event hosted by Morris Heights Health Center and WellCare Health Plus.

Lincoln Hospital hosts Wear Pink Day on Friday, October 13 from noon to 2 p.m. at 234 E. 149th Street.

On Saturday, October 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Lincoln Hospital offers mammogram, pap smear and colorectal screenings on the first floor’s Room 1A2.

The 15th annual American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of the Bronx Walk makes tracks Sunday, October 15 at 10 a.m. at Orchard Beach. Check-in for the walk begins at 8 a.m. at One Orchard Beach Road.

The three-mile fundraising walk raises awareness, funds research, celebrates survivors and honors lost loved ones.

Interested in expressing your artistic side? Consider attending ‘Paint the Night,’ a two-hour acrylic painting class hosted by the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and Raymour and Flanigan on Thursday, October 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 2264 Bartow Avenue.
