On Tuesday, Aug. 29, Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson will join Essen Health Care, ICNA Relief, Empire City Casino/MGM Resorts, United Health Care and others to distribute 400 book bags and supply kits to hundreds of children and teens participating in the annual Back to School Health and Literacy Fair at P.S. 51 – Bronx STEM & Arts Academy Gymnasium.
The fair will take place from 1-4 p.m. at 695 E. 182nd St., between Crotona Avenue and Grote Street.
Earlier this month, the Bronx Borough President’s office hosted a separate Back to School Health and Literacy event at P.S. 134.
