Bronx Entrepreneurship Scholarship Foundation grants awards to graduating seniors

The Bronx Entrepreneurship Scholarship Foundation awarded three scholarships to graduating high school seniors on Friday, June 14. Valery Sepulveda, Daniel Hostos Perez and Joshua Kissoon received the awards for their academic achievements and expressed interest in entrepreneurship and business.

After graduating from Bronx Collegiate Academy, Sepulveda is looking forward to student activities, dorm life and meeting new people at Syracuse University. Her long-term goal is to work for a corporate banking company with international extensions.

Perez will major in psychology at Boston University and then plans to get a PhD to become a licensed psychiatrist. She is a graduate of University Heights High School. Her goal is to establish a nonprofit organization to support adolescents in need of mental health services.

Kisson is a graduate of St. Raymond High School for Boys and loves music, basketball, fashion and being with friends. He hopes to have an incredible experience at Iona University where he will study finance. After college, he aspires to explore the world and enjoy the various cultures.
