Police in the Bronx are looking for the suspect who shot a man dead Wednesday evening.
Law enforcement sources said the victim, a 35-year-old man, was gunned down in front of a store and apartment building at 516 East 183rd St. in Belmont at about 6:34 p.m. on April 16.
Officers from the 48th Precinct, in responding to a 911 call about the incident, found the victim unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his neck.

EMS rushed the wounded man to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Police have not yet released his identity, pending family notification.
The motive for the shooting remains unknown and under investigation. Police are looking for a suspect described as a male with a dark complexion who was seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a white surgical mask and black pants who fled the scene on foot eastbound on East 183rd Street before turning northbound on Washington Avenue.
So far, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation, police said.
