Bronx Zoo Mornings: Bears: 9 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the Bronx Zoo

Join the Bronx Zoo for this special before-hours program. Bring the whole family down to the zoo’s Brown Bear Den, and learn more about these cuddly-looking creatures from a zookeeper who takes care of them. Registration information can be found here.

Easter Bunny Free Kids Event: 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at The Mall at Bay Plaza

Visit The Mall at Bay Plaza for an afternoon of music, magic and of course, the Easter Bunny. DJ Omar will lead kids in dancing with opportunities to earn prizes, while Magical Monty will perform magic shows for the whole family to enjoy. Harlem River Walking Tour: 1 p.m.-3 p.m. at 1381 University Ave.

Enjoy an afternoon stroll made complete with views of the High Bride and Harlem River. Guided by community organizer and greenway advocate Chauncy Young, participants can soak in the views and learn more about how the area connects to the larger city greenway network. Family Time: Double Dutch: 3 p.m.-5 p.m. at The Bronx Museum

It’s never too late to learn something new. At The Bronx Museum, experienced instructors will assist those of all ages and skill levels in learning how to double dutch jump rope. Admission to the museum is free; interested attendees may reserve a spot here.

Wings of Dublin Irish Dance: 4 p.m. at the Lehman Center for the Performing Arts

Enjoy an evening celebrating Irish art and heritage with the Wings of Dublin Irish Dance troupe. Visitors will experience world class dancers and musicians in a performance produced by a critically acclaimed team. Tickets for the show can be purchased here.
