Non-profit Renaissance Youth Center is hosting STEM in the Park this Saturday. The event, held at Reverend Lena Irons Unity Park, invites Bronx youth to interact with STEM professionals. Bronxites will watch live science demonstrations and partake in STEM-related activities. This event is for kids ages 11 to 17.

Animal Chronicles Walking Trail

The Bronx Zoo commemorates its 125-year history of wildlife and species conservation with Animal Chronicles, a quarter mile walking trail featuring 13 scenes of 68 animal eco-sculptures. Visitors will walk through the urban oasis as guides share the conservation efforts of the zoo. Visitors will also have an opportunity to pose and play among the eco-sculptures – many of which are artistic representations of animals in the Bronx Zoo.

New York Botanical Garden’s Wonderland: Curious Nature

10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Tickets: $15 to $30

Take a trip down the rabbit hole with New York Botanical Gardens this Sunday. Visitors will walk through botanical recreations of the sights and settings of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Join a whimsical tea party, a conversation with the garden’s vibrant Victorian flowers, and even meet the characters of wonderland recreated in hedge-form. The botanical exhibit will also feature contemporary artwork and garden-side galleries.
