Calling all performing artists – singers, dancers, poets, comics, live painters, actors and more! Showcase your skills on stage in front of a live audience. The Bronx in Color: Pop Out & Paint x Artist Showcase: 12 p.m.-7 p.m. at The Bronx Brewery & Empanology, 856 E. 136th St.
Enjoy a creative, vibrant space that is both free and therapeutic. This exhibit, based off of the “Paint and Sit” exhibition in Atlanta, will bring the community together through art creativity, showcasing local creatives’ products such as natural oils and crystals, handmade stationery and much more. Sponsored by the Bronx Brewery, the Bronx Council on the Arts the NYC Citizens Committee, “the Bronx in Color” event is part of the True Colors BX project by Bronx Art Sanctuary (Paint By Les). Classic Tour at Yankee Stadium: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Yankee Stadium, 1 E. 161st St.
Take a tour of one of the famed stadiums in all of professional sports! Since the Yankees are out of town this weekend, why not go to the legendary Yankee Stadium and learn more about the history of the Bronx Bombers for only $30. Enjoy a one-hour tour which includes a visit to Monument Park and a display of several historic baseball artifacts.
